Juniper Golf Club

We couldn’t decide whether to play or not because of the wind, I asked my wife 4 times in 2 hours, she said yes, yes, yes, no. So we played anyhow, the pro shop said it should calm down later, he was right. First 5 holes, cold and windy, but died off to nothing by the 14th, I was in a T-shirt. Had a good time. Thank you Juniper.

Always in good shape and a fun course - layout and interesting.

On a 50 degree cold start ending up in the low 70's the course was not as difficult as I expected. Longer than what a Senior my age plays but that was known in advance. Course was in pretty good condition except for the greens. Very rough and bumpy. Had no idea where the ball was going to go even on really short putts. Possibly, the Greens hadn't been punched for the spring yet. Fairways were mostly good grass, off the fairway was raw High Desert Brush but not thick so a mishit ball could be found. The sand traps around the greens and the fairway bunkers were well maintained with fluffy white sand. Found one of each. A few elevated greens with pins up front made wedge shots really tricky. Some greens would hold a good wedge shot with back spin others would not. So to summarize, the course was a fair challenge except for really lousy greens. Maybe better weather will bring better greens.

It is always a challenge to play no matter the weather conditions . Usually windy in the afternoon, but only mild this time. Greens fairly fast for this time of year. Have come to love playing this course.

considering February on the high desert the course was in very good condition. they'd already started plug aeration but not yet in the landing zones so still to come. greens ran well, sand was well sorted and dry, tee boxes combined forward. a real class operation for the public. i'll be back when winter lets up.

Juniper is a tough but fair course. The only reason I gave the course conditions four stars was due to winter conditions. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is a good place to visit after your round.

They are doing a great job keeping the course in great condition for this late in the winter! Beautiful views and a fun course .

Course was challenging in a fun way. Greens were fast but consistent. Clubhouse staff was great. Would golf there again

We arrived only to find that I had screwed up and had the wrong time. Despite a tournament going off the staff was extremely accommodating and got us out the back nine first and we were able to finish 18 holes.

Really enjoyed the course - though we didn't walk it is very walk-able. Good condition and very accommodating fairways. We will play again if we come back to the Bend area.

I always enjoy Juniper, always in great shape with fast greens. Challenging holes with variety in shots required. One of my favorite courses to play in Oregon.

Somehow misunderstood tee time. Pro shop let us play the next day at a reduced rate but lost the $$ for the missed round.

This course is definitely a favorite. It's link style with plenty of interest. You can easily lose the ball in the rocky outcropping which surrounds you on all sides on most holes. It's a challenging course and if you score well you know you've played very very good!

Noontime tee time but not busy and we went out early. Tough course but fun.

Only complaint was 3-4 carts on hole in front of us, 4 players with parents/coaches?tagging along taking forever. We skipped the hole and passed them, the rest was great.

Course is great but the problem is the GM some guy named Travis what a real idiot as long as he is the GM I will never play there again a real Libtard.

Staff is kinda like the GM kinda ruins your day of Golf.

But love the new layout
