Juniper Golf Club

I got my tee time online, and saved a few bucks. For me the couse played very long. I needed a cart because of my health, but it is walkable for most. It was nice to beable to hit my long game. I'd play again, but for me I'll stick to the short couses. Staff was pleasent.

Course was in great shape !! Played twilight for $29 at 527 and finished at 840. Shot 76 with 3 three putts and a double!! Could have been a great round!!

We are fans of John's course designs. He uses the natural topography to challenge the golfers. In this case - lava rocks! Want to okay again now that we know where his tricks are.
Having said that, I think the pro shop staff needs to step it up. Be friendly to visitors. Explain why you pushed them back a tee time. Have the cart girl show up more than once at the beginning and on #9. Did not feel welcomed at all at the beginning or end of the round.

We have golfed here a few years, and it continues to improve. the greens are in great shape. It has some interesting and tough features. They are adding some forward tees for women which makes it play a lot fairer for women. It is a great value.

First time players and we found a good rate via Golf Now website. We found the course easy to find and the facilities and pro shop personnel efficient and friendly. The course was in very good shape albeit I am not in fond of the blind shot holes as I was unsure if I was hitting into someone. All in all a great deal and a good experience !

Juniper is an excellent looking course and what a pleasure to play. Every hole gets you excited for the next and the back 9 gets even better. The topography of the course makes you feel 7 feet tall with all of the juniper trees and sloping terrain! The customer service is on top of things and there are no homes on the course which gives it a private feel. I live in central Oregon and juniper is definitely in my top three. Hole for hole I would say the best looking

My bro-in-law and 10 year old son and I played and had a great time on a course that was very nicely manicured and was in great condition. We will definitely play here again, and plan to do so next week.

Loved this course! It was well-maintained and provided enough challenges throughout the scenic round. I would love to come back and play this one again.

Tee to green, the course is demanding and fair, but we were cursed with 2-3 club winds and 50 degree weather - the cold and wind would have given even the most hardened Scot pause to wonder what one is doing out there. I look forward to a return date on a more typical Central Oregon summer day.

A terrific high desert golf course. Beautiful views of the Cascade Range on virtually every hole. The greens are true and in magnificent shape. One of the best values in Central Oregon for high caliber golf.

Juniper is always one of my favorite courses to play. I am not very skilled at golf, and this course helps you to hone all of your skills. Booked on golfnow.com, and got a great deal. Perfect weather, I might add!

The best golfing value in Central Oregon. Juniper is a must play for me whenever I'm in the area.

Played on a Saturday Afternoon on a mid 70's day and still was able to finish in about 4 hours. Not many places in Portland you can play that fast on a Saturday afternoon.
This course was cheaper than all the courses we played over the weekend and was in better condition than most.

The only issue I have with Juniper is the first Par 5 on the front 9. At over 600 yards from the Green Tees, you have a narrowing fairway on the 2nd shot and a blind shot to the green because you have a huge mound in the fairway. Yes I enjoy challenging courses but this hole seems to be designed unfairly. Unless you drive the ball 260 and then blast a 3 wood 230 to a blind landing spot you're going to have no view of the green on your approach. Other than that I love the course and enjoy how fast the greens are.

This has become one of my favorite courses. For only $25 we had our greens fees covered and a cart. You can't beat a deal like that. Hope to be back time and time again!!

The course was in fantastic shape. Fairways, fringe, and greens looking excellent for late spring. Greens were quite fast with good pin placement. Overall excellent value, especially booking through GolfNow

Staff very accommodating. Let us go out early as there was an opening. Pace of play great! We had a great time. I would highly recommend this course. Play the greens across the street for short game. Then go to Lost Tracks in Bend for a fun time. Also, the Ale Trail is a great time. Lots to do in the area!

Perhaps the best value for golf in Central Oregon?

I play this course whenever I'm in town. Has a lot of character. Challenging, but fun for the average golfer. The course is always in good shape and traps are fun to play because they have good sand in them and well racked. Locals take good care of it also as ball marks on the greens were few.

Juniper always enjoyable! I enjoy the fast smooth greens, and very demanding layout. The grass is not thick yet, so lots of difficulty if you need a high soft landing shot.
