South Shore Golf Course

Charging a premium and the course was below average in condition. Around the greens was busted. Very bumpy roll on greens. Around bunkers not maintained and the tee boxes were out of order. Some of the par 3's were like 70 yards. Maintenance needs to raise their performance.

Temporary Tee boxes at the beginning of the fairways, but other than that conditions were great. Greens in great shape. Staff was friendly. Will be back once tee boxes reopen for sure.

The course is fine. Tees were all moved up to aerate the tee boxes. It’s a short course, with some fun holes that should be around $55 for a weekend round. $70 is nuts.

The original tee boxes are under construction but the fairways and greens are in really good condition!!

All tee boxes are either bare or undergoing re-seeding repair, and if the course was using a having tee box, it was moved way up . The cart paths are still in very poor shape. The course just finished undergoing major aeration a couple of weeks ago. The greens are pretty good. The fairways are another story. The sand traps are a mess due to no rakes and golfers making no attempt to smooth over the remnants of their trap play. It is this golfer’s opinion that this course should have been completely closed down for a month plus and completely repaired.

The course is in horrible condition. You have to look for a patch of grass in the fairway to hit your ball off. Every green was aerated and

in horrible condition.

The only bright spot was Stacy at the bar and grill.

Delay start 1 hour waiting for carts , the conditions of the tee boxes were a joke

There was an hour backup waiting for carts. Our tee time was 11:51 we didn’t tee off until 12:40. The greens were aerated and there was no warning about that before we booked the tee time. Not worth $78.

Course was worn down and many tee boxes were all sand. Not worth the price.

The front 9 of this course is currently closed, However, you do not find this out until you arrive at the pro shop to check in. I believe that GolfNow should advise GolfPass members right on the web site of the current situation / any unfavorable conditions before allowing unknowing golf members to book and pre-pay a tee time.

We played the back nine twice because the front was being aerated. Overall the course is in pretty bad shape. Most of the boxes are patches of dirt, fairways are decent, but the greens being recently aerated were very poor and loaded with sand. Glad I didn't pay full green fees or I'd be more disappointed.

Needs maintenance, fairways to be cut, greens to be rolled traps to have rakes! Lack of on course food/beverage concession or cart person hurts. Heavy tree and undergrowth requires trimming and yhinning out.

If all addressed, it's a much better experience. As is, quite attractive with some very appealing hole design.

Awaiting grass growth. Traps could be improved...with sand! Need ranger to keep players in position.
