Decent course
I wish I’d played here years ago. Heard they are closing and there probably why things were just shy of perfect conditions. Hope to golf here again before the season ends.
Short but nice course
Fairways to greens were great.
Tee boxes are okay.
Greens were really fast. I'd play it again.
Sad
Still can’t believe that this course is closing. Course is good shape and the value is great for a local course.
I’ll play again before the end of year
Challenging course. Reasonable conditions.
Loch Nairn is not long but it has a world of trouble awaiting you if you can't hit it reasonably straight. Many fairways are wide so there's room to err, but there's tons of marsh and creeks and ponds. It's a really fun course to play. The staff is friendly and informal. The tee boxes are generally a mess and there are far too many people who don't fix their ball marks but overall the curse is in playable condition.
Good Course
I’ve played here many times. Course in good shape all around. Teed off in a foursome at 11:40 am on a sunny Saturday. Pace of play awesome - never waited. Nobody in front or behind.
Plenty of trouble and water and marsh etc. if you don’t hit straight. Probably would not be the best choice for a beginner.
No range is the only drawback. They have a couple hitting nets but no way to hit drives since the rubber tees are broken and no way to tee up. (Management could buy a few rubber tees!!!)
Staff super welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyable day.
Didn't even get to play
I drove an hr and a half. I kept on calling to see if they were open. Had no one staffed.... I got there it stated "course closed due to inclement weather, call Lisa." So I called Lisa....
Lisa didn't even pick up. I haven't even gotten a chance to call tee off to go about getting my money back. It looks nice. But, terrible customer service
Very nice course, challenging turns
Beautiful course with challenging dog legs and water hazards throughout. Gently rolling terrain. Greens are in excellent condition.
Great Day
Course was in great shape. Had one tee box in the heavy shade that was worn down.
Just got done a round and absolutely loved it. Went by myself and got an early tee time and flew through a round in just over 2 and a half hours. I've played 30 plus courses around the area over past year and a half and to me this is one of the best values around. Some tee boxes could use work but overall the course was in great condition. Greens kinda slow but to be expected after heavy rains night before. Loved the layout. Plenty of doglegs. As it was my first time playing here finding the next tee box on a few holes could be confusing but otherwise zero complaints. Can't wait to play here again.
