Gilbertsville Golf Club is a public, 27-hole layout in New Hanover Township. The holes are divided into three different nines called the Red, White, and Blue. The nines sprawl across the rolling hills of Montgomery County, which is most apparent on the most challenging of the three, the Blue Course. The Red and White, the club's original 18 holes, have a more traditional layout while the Blue Nine, which was added 30 years later, is more modern with rolling fairways and large, undulating greens. Surprisingly the Blue is the shortest of the three golf courses but it feels longer due to the constant up-and-down. Golfers will encounter a number of tricky lies on this nine and there is also water coming into play on nearly every hole.

Made a few craters on the greens and happily used the repair tool. Unfortunately choked on my few birdie putts. Photo submitted by u000007953538 on 11/18/2013

Can't beat it!
New to the area and first time out this year. I was looking for a good deal since I knew I would be hacking around.....and was pleasantly surprised with the course. Great deal too!!
nice layout
I enjoyed the course. It was in nice shape and the greens putted well and held my approach shots. Its a fun layout. I played the blue and white course. You dont have to be long off the tee. I think this course would be fun for all ability of golfers.
Hi Randy thank you much for playing at Gilbertsville Golf Club. We hope to have you back soon and we're glad you enjoyed the layout and the conditions too!
in awesome shape
i played to front blue to reb in about 3 hours. course was in great shape. great value for $27 @ 8am sat morning.
Hi there thanks for playing at Gilbertsville GC. We are glad you had an excellent experience and look forward to seeing you on the golf course again!
Great value.
We played red to blue. Pace of play was great. Greens are in great shape. Many courses in the area list greens due to the winter, but they are alive and well here. Course is very open, and forgiving.

Great place to play golf
I played at gilbersville at least 7 times this year. Great staff. Never was crowded ...Awesome set up with challenging fairways and greens. I highly recommend to anyone
The course has great features
The course is in great condition for the end of October. The staff was helpful and nice.
Fun, course in very good condition.
I have played all 3 nine hole courses many times. It is usually in good shape. Recently it has been in very good condition. Decent value during the weekdays, but overpriced on the weekends. My favorites are the red and blue courses. It appears most people agree.
worth every penny
This is a really nice place to play without a lot of frills. The staff is very helpfull. The more you play the more you enjoy the layout. The price is very reasonable and they don't overbook so the pace is almost always good. Thanks for keeping it in such good shape.
Great value
Played this course years ago and didn't quite remembered how nice it was. It is in very good shape and a great value especially when booked with golf now.
Rest of facility and carts leave some to be desired..
Nice course
First time players here had no trouble getting around the course. Fairways are amazing and the greens were tricky on the Blue course, not so much on the White course. Stay on the beautifully groomed fairways because the rough is thick and challenging.
Great but aeration
Played after a 1/2 day of work, not many people out on a great weather day. Got to first green and they had aerated a week or two ago, would have liked to have known that. Otherwise course was in good shape, fairways were about perfect.
Easier course
Nice course. Good pace of play. Played on a Sunday at noon, three and a half hour round. This would be a great course for beginners and people who only play a few times a year. Good value as well as good conditions. Give it a try
Good Shape
Greens were in very good shape, held iron shots, putts rolled true and consistent. Good pace of play, even with having to wait to tee off on several holes.
Fun course
I played the red and blue course nine hole combo. No pushover.
The course was fun and offered a variety of shot making opportunities. Deep heather lines the fairways so you need to keep it on the course. Both fairways and greens were in great condition.
The blue nine will stand-up to any area course. Although, bunkers have many rocks.
Staff was very friendly and snack bar in the clubhouse looked good. Cart girl came by several times so I felt like I was receiving attention out on the course.
If you're looking for a fun day out on the course I would highly recommend the red and blue 18 hole combo.
Pretty course
It was a scenic course nice wide fairways. Only real complaint my husband landed in a few traps not a good base of sand.
path to the tee area is not well marked and hence confusing
There are three 9-hole sections in this course, White, Red and Blue. On the white course, tee grounds, 1, 2, 7 and 9 are in the same vicinity. The cart path to the tee ground#2 was not marked. We were so confused after playing the White hole #1. We could not find hole #2 after driving around and appeared to be totally confused. We asked several golfers in other groups, only one person knew where the White hole #2 was....
Worth the trip
Gilbertsville is Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip.
red & blue courses
Played red course 9 & blue course 9. Overall good fun to play fairly wide open. I do Not like high 18" grass & weeds around bunkers....that makes no sense. ..5" rough around greens is ok...18" rough Not Ok!
Three 9 Hole couses
Good place to play for warming up for the year.
good beginner course open fair ways and short.
