Gilbertsville Golf Club is a public, 27-hole layout in New Hanover Township. The holes are divided into three different nines called the Red, White, and Blue. The nines sprawl across the rolling hills of Montgomery County, which is most apparent on the most challenging of the three, the Blue Course. The Red and White, the club's original 18 holes, have a more traditional layout while the Blue Nine, which was added 30 years later, is more modern with rolling fairways and large, undulating greens. Surprisingly the Blue is the shortest of the three golf courses but it feels longer due to the constant up-and-down. Golfers will encounter a number of tricky lies on this nine and there is also water coming into play on nearly every hole.

Play was way to slow
Took 3 hrs to do 9nine holes you need more Rangers out to move people long
Blue to White
Love the Blue course. It is a little more isolated and more difficult. White course just a tad more "busy". Both courses were in nice shape. Overall a great day. Would recommend the course to anyone with my level of play 86-94. I plan to plan to play here again.

Nice open course
Descent course for a weekend round. The only downer was the greens were recently aerated and nobody bothered to say anything.

Short in length but worth the trip!
Not a long course but well maintained and enjoyable. Very friendly staff! Will definitely play again. Surprised by speed of greens , very quick!

Nicest of the Three
I think the blue course is the nicest of the three at Gilbertsville. I will make sure it is one of the two nines I play when I return.

Nice course perfect for beginner/intermediate level players
Decent course for an amazingly cheap price. It's fun, not too difficult, greens roll nicely and faiways are nice and wide.
You will have a fun time playing here. The staff is very friendly.
1st Time Here
Booked through Golf Now as a single and hooked up with a regular who guided me around the Red and Blue Courses. We finished in 3 Hrs. 15 min. The greens ran fast and true and the fairways were in great shape. I will be back.

Play 27!!!
My group and I played 27 holes. We played our first 18 in relative quick fashion. You could see people all over but tees were never backed up, course is very well setup to give ample time between holes. I really stress that 27 is very do-able. My group of 4 ( averaging out at 14-handicap) was able to play 27 holes in just under 5.5 hours.

Nice first round
It was a nice change and the first time I played here. Played red to white. The course was in good condition. It was hot and very dry so the greens were quick and tough to hold. Looking forward to trying again soon.

Great Course for the Money
I played here as I got a hot deal from Golf Now. I was able to get out half hour earlier then my tee time and the employee in the pro shop was able to start me on the white course which was pretty much empty. I played from the blue's on the white course, which was pretty flat and with not much in your way. Greens rolled well. From the White Course, I played the Red Course which was pretty similar to the White with not much in your way off the tee and flat. Overall a fun place to play and a good course for beginners. I would play here again.

Good value course
Had not been to this course in many years. Found it to be in fine condition and very fairly priced for the summer season. Very friendly staff in pro shop, snack shop and on the course. Greens in very good condition. Glad that we made the hour ride.

Very pleasant experience
Prior to booking my tee time I read many of the reviews and decided to give it a shot. Everything I read was spot on. The young man in the pro shop was extremely friendly and although I was early, sent me out right away. Played the Red to Blue and finished in under 3 hours. Course is wide open and not very penal, greens were in great shape. The $45 rate I paid was a fair price and well worth it. I will most certainly be back.

Good layout...pace of play
Hooked up with two singles and after a slow foursome allowed us to move past them, we finished eighteen holes in about four and a half hours. Overall, the course is in pretty good shape. Greens were extremely fast. Some challenging holes. You will use virtually every club in your bag.

Great value
For an inexpensive course, this course was in surprisingly very good shape. Not crowded. As a single, I teed off late enough to get the "all you can play" deal and played 27 holes in 3 hours.

White to Blue
Arrived early and was allowed to go immediately. Played the blue on the way in and was welcomed by Dale & Frank to play with them as we caught up with the AM groups ahead.
Blue is tighter then the white with water coming into play but the course was in good shape with greens recovering from aeration. Putts rolled amazingly considering.
Very enjoyable have played in the past and will play again.

Fun course
The GolfNow deal made this the perfect choice for a Sunday afternoon and our foursome had a great time.
Kyle in the proshop was a terrific help in scheduling and providing insight.

First Time - Worth the Trip
Started on the Red Course - not crowded - didn't feel rushed - course was in a awesome shape. Then played the Blue Course - backed up from the start but began to spread out after a couple of holes. Blue course was in ok shape - aerated greens were a bummer but it was doable. Very pleased, I will be back again.
