Gilbertsville Golf Club is a public, 27-hole layout in New Hanover Township. The holes are divided into three different nines called the Red, White, and Blue. The nines sprawl across the rolling hills of Montgomery County, which is most apparent on the most challenging of the three, the Blue Course. The Red and White, the club's original 18 holes, have a more traditional layout while the Blue Nine, which was added 30 years later, is more modern with rolling fairways and large, undulating greens. Surprisingly the Blue is the shortest of the three golf courses but it feels longer due to the constant up-and-down. Golfers will encounter a number of tricky lies on this nine and there is also water coming into play on nearly every hole.

Made a few craters on the greens and happily used the repair tool. Unfortunately choked on my few birdie putts. Photo submitted by u000007953538 on 11/18/2013

Yeah lets play this course again
For me its one of those courses you want to visit 1-5 times a year. During prime season the conditions are consistent. The course has 3 sets of nine that feel different to play. Just check this course out. Its not going to be a waste of time/money for a good outing by yourself or with some buddies.
Fastest round I've ever played
Played 18 holes in 2:52 along with one other player. Incredible pace of play. Greens were a little patchy and shaggy in some areas, but the fairways were nice and overall it was a fun time. Would recommend to others.
Quck early morning round
Gilbertsville is great for a quick early morning round. One of the only courses in the area that allows you to walk on weekend mornings without paying for a cart. The course is well maintained and with 27 holes the pace of play is good. I started at 6:30 am and was driving out of the parking lot at 9:30 am. Booked on GolfNow the night before after course was closed so it could not have been more convenient.
Can't wait for dry weather
This corse is one I enjoy time and time agian took my son to play before his deployment this week and we had a blast can't wait for his return to play this corse agian.
nice coruse
this is a nice course for the price. We have played here many times and enjoy it every time.
love this course
We played two of the three 9 holes sets and loved it.
Fun Open Course
Fun Straight forward course with each hole feeling unique. If you are strong with a driver I would probably play the tips. Scenery was fantastic with some water on a few holes. 10 point buck prancing across 7 or 8 on the Blue course this past Sunday was a little surreal. Solid course. Worth the drive and the great rate. Another course I would never have played without the golfnow app. I look forward to returning for a full day and playing all 27,

An enjoyable round on a very playable course.
Played on a very windy, cold day in under 3 hours, with another single who knew the course and gave good lines of play. Would like to play here in better weather. Greens were sneaky fast and in good shape, as was the course in general. If you meet up with Ira don't bet against his putting. He dropped everything he looked at.
Great
Early November and the course was in great shape. Tee Boxes were pristine and fairways and trap were well maintained. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. It's wide open Fairways were good for beginners. Course was very nice
Great fall value
Slow red 9 but fast white 9, greens rolling faster than expected fairways in great shape
Fairways were pristine
Played Red to Blue. Fairways were pristine and the greens rolled true. Ist time played the course in 7 years and I was pleasantly surprised with the condition. Great value through Golfnow.
Great layout with fast greens
this is fun course to play, it was my 1st. time there in 15 yrs. the greens were fast w/plenty of undulation, we will be back soon
Excellent bang for your buck!
My golfing buddy and I recently played the Gilbertsville after purchasing a tee time using a Hot Deal (only paid $19 per person). It had rained a lot the day before and the course was just opening at 10:30am (we had a 10:32am tee time). It was great being the first ones on the course and having no one in front of us.
It was cart-path only because of the substantial rain the night before, but that it didn't effect us. The course is fun and challenging. I play to about an 18 handicap and my playing partner plays close to a single digit handicap. We both were challenged and had a great time. I'd play the course again and the Hot Deal was the icing on the cake.
best value in area
excellent greens..,very wide open... three courses offer variety.. super friemdly staff!
nice variety of holes
Very pleasant staff, helpful and friendly. Three nines here, so you can change up the round with a different look. A couple of spots where some course maintenance is going on, but does not impact your play. Would definitely play here again.
Good Price
Staff was very friendly. Greens were coming in nicely after aerification.
Gilbertville - 5 Star Opportunity
Gilbertsville Golf Course is a great place to play. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the course is in great shape and the fairways have been widened to make it more enjoyable but not any easier to score.
3 - 9 hole courses - play 'em all if you have the time
I played Red to Blue and was matched up with a twosome - one of whom was a really good golfer - so I had to up my game a little
I got some pars on the Red and more pars and a birdie on the Blue.
Felt good to improve the back 9 by 10
Course was well maintained and mostly open - I hit 70% of fairways
I had a great time - will definitely come back.
