Decent course, but....
Pros:
- Well manicured course from rough to green
- Challenging layout and fun to play
- Nice practice green
- Great scenery/views
Cons:
- Staff was less than courteous
- No starter at the first hole and folks were just going out and 1st hole is a blind 1st shot. Was hit up on after hitting a nice drive while waiting for the green to clear.
- On course construction that was not announced/stated at reservation
- Carts are in poor shape
- Practice range is not good
Overall, good course for locals and the price, but better options in the region for a few more dollars.
Course conditions
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. Grass cut perfectly.
course needs a ranger!
course in great shape. unfortunately we were stuck behind a senior foursome taking 15 minutes to play each hole. they would not allow us to play through. we eventually just skipped a hole to pass them after they took 25 minutes to play hole #4.
Worth the Trip!!
Unique course offering challenges for all levels. If you have a accurate mid range game, course is set up to score. Greens playing true and offer up some chances at memorable long putts.....
Gem of a course
Very little sand but it’s not needed. The thick rough makes up for it. Sweep your shot out of it and don’t hit down to get a good shot out of the rough . Greens were fast but putted true. The course conditions will bring you back to play again.
Great course
Found this course through a hot deal a month ago and couldn't wait to get back again. Challenging holes but also chances to score. Even for a novice like me. Course is in great shape.
Great Value while not sacrificing
Honestly, this course is great for any golfer looking to work on approach shots or have a fun time. It’s a well kept course, it has no sand traps (think I counted 5) but the greens are very challenging. My favorite thing about this place is the price and clubhouse. Staff was very friendly, reminded me of the poconos. The pro shop was decent, nothing fancy but very helpful and they have hot dogs on which looked good after my first 9 holes. The best part was the bar/tavern, the wetlands. Place made me feel like I was back at home in the poconos. I met the owners daughter at the Wetlands after my round, she was very nice and made me feel welcome. You don’t find these places down in MontCo, i will be going back 110%
