Macoby Run Golf Course

we need off at 12:40 3 some me my wife and my son. there was a group of 5 in front of that was playing a scramble style but still excessively slow. when the ranger drove by I complained about the 5 some and he said the girl that was with them worked there and drove off. by the time we got to the turn I decided to call the club house from the 10th tee.they said they were aware of the 5some and that they did not have permission to do so and the owner was not happy. a few minutes later the ranger drove over to them and I assume told them they can not play as a 5 some. a few holes later when we caught up to them again on the tee box. one of the larger men walks up and said she was not really playing but only putting. meanwhile we watched her tee off on several holes. by him coming up tonus it was obvious the ranger told them that I was the one to complain. from that point fw on the back nine where al.ost every hole runs parallel to the others they were heckling as during our swings. counting excessively loud, or sreaming woo hoo out of. nowhere. when I looked over I could see them all stairing at me. I felt threatened and decided not to do anything as there were only 4 holes remaining. the heckling continued for the next 4 holes. I was going to go in and complain about it before I left but they were still there and did not want to get into an altercation. I will never to go back to this facility being that one of the ones heckling us was an employee.

Course was in great shape.

I love how the Greens are in constant motion.

Pin placement make for enjoyable challenges.

Every round is a New Challenge.

Many blind shots which increase the challenge.

Always have a good day playing Macoby Run. Wished I lived closer so we would play it more often.

Layout is fun but not difficult, course conditions are great. Didn’t have a ranger when I went (on a Thursday morning) and it severely slowed the pace of play, it took two hours and 40 minutes to finish the front 9 because of two slow groups in front of me. Would still recommend to anyone

Your round lasted just over 5 and a half hours. Ranger showed once and problem never got solved. I don't much other beef besides that. However that did ruin the entire day

Wet conditions made this round difficult to play. Only played 11 holes due to poor visibility. I will try later in the month when conditions improve.

Nice course some of the greens were a little crazy

Course was in good shape. Weather was perfect. Pace a little slow. Professional staff. Enjoyed the round.

Great course. Plenty of challenging holes mixed with elevation changes and lots of blind shots. Open enough to be forgiving, but tight enough to force you to “place” the ball. Greens are undulated and quick. Great course that I always love to play. Great value for the price.
