Landis Creek Golf Club
About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Haven’t played this courses since 2023. The fairways were horrible. Look like someone did donuts on all the par 4s and par 5s. The starter or pro shop didn’t have a clue of the course conditions - so they say. I will not patronize Landis - Turtle Creek is much better.
Not bad
Solid course. Good layout, great bar. Gets really soggy when it’s wet, though. A lot of residential areas with lots of houses and OB backyards along fairways and greens.
Good course
An above average course, properly maintained and definitely worth the price
Solid public golf course
Course has challenges off the tee box, water hazards, bunkers and elevation changes.
Landis creek golf club
Played this course for the first time and probably will be my last. Course conditions were mediocre at best and if you hit it in the rough it was very difficult to find your ball. Greens were ok but alot of the greens had dig marks in them from people slamming their putters into them.
good value, commentating for nine or 18 hole
The course is close by and I’ve driven by it several times. Weather forecast was for rain today so I only wanted to reserve nine holes. The rough was a little long and high, especially with dandelions. Made it difficult to quickly find balls both white and yellow are more frequent trim in the season would be a good idea. Otherwise it was just fine.
No good
Course is in rough shape. Greenside grass is extremely poor or dirt. Makes for a rough time with short game. I would not recommend this course.
Course Conditions
Tee boxes we filled with divots. No fresh grass to play from. Fairways were in bad shape with high grass, no clean up done. Course could use an overhaul of the grounds.
Challenge
Played on March 15 2025 in the winter… very playable and challenging
Cow pasture
This course is not worth the $. There are some fantastic golf options in the area - this is the 2nd worst one next to Ingleside
The fairways and tee boxes are dead. You’d rather hit out of the rough than fairway. Some tee boxes more akin to a bunker. The greens are weed-filled or punched from aeration. The ONLY redeeming quality of this course are the carts.
I don’t leave review on here. This is my first one. Only leaving it because I hate feeling like golf courses took my money for a bad experience. This was a bad experience. Would’ve left at the turn if it wasn’t so expensive. Don’t play here. Give your money to a course willing to put a minimal amount of work into groundskeeping.
like playing in concrete
do not play here until it rains! course was great for drives but ridiculous for sticking greens! impossible to land approach shots on the green because ball bounced 10 feet into air and rolled forever. #7 looks/plays togher with the pond/swamp in front, was easiest par 5 in previously, nice change. pray for rain!
Good beginner course
Good course gives a solid challenge to beginners but not out of reach the course was well maintained while being in a drought
