Landis Creek Golf Club
About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

SAME OLD COURSE DIFFERENT OWNER
Looked for the changes but never found any other than the golf shop being outside ..... good move there.
The course conditions were horrible from tee to green. Caught up to 3 guys who it seemed like they purposely took their time and did not care who they were holding up in the process. I told the ranger, Dan, who said "Oh, kinda in your face" and then sped off in the other direction. We were one of several groups to jump around them. To top it off we went inside afterward and I used the mens room and it looked and smelled like a port a potty. Went to the bar and waited 10 minutes and got no service so we left. Worst exp. ever in the 35 yrs. playing golf!!!
Landis Creek in April
Course was in good shape for this time of year. Not many folks playing mid/day so pace of play was very hood
course is good for moderate high hdcp players
fairways could have been in better shape. weather was sunny but extremely windy perhaps 25 mph. back nine always plays tougher than front nine. didnt keep score was just happy to be playing. the course was renamed LANDIS CREEK GOLF COURSE
Just a nice day to play.
It was a decent course to play for the price. Greens were recently top dressed, not too bad to putt on. Fairly wide open layout and was able to shoot in the low 70's. Over seeding the fairways would be recommended. Played 18 in less than 3 hours. Overall, a good public course.
Friendly accomodating staff at very nice course
This was a great value! The greens had been recenlty aerated, so they obviously weren't in the best shape, but this was relayed when booking the tee time and again when we got to the course. We were late for our tee time and staff was really friendly and got us out as a two-some no problem. Pace was perfect. Course had character on a couple holes, but wasn't super challenging. Overall good course that I will play again!
Limerick Golf Course
Booked a great deal online for a Sat.10 am tee time for a single, first time playing this course. Rainy morning but forecast to clear, the three scheduled to pair up had cancelled. Went out at 9:30am to beat the outing coming behind me at 1pm. and had the course to myself, no one in front or back. Very enjoyable round, putting for par on 18 by 1 pm, missed by inches for a bogey.
Ample corned beef on the sandwich for lunch, at a reasonable price.
Late summer
The course has poor drainage. The greens were very wet. Each cup had water in them. It did rain the day before. The course is deceiving, it doesn't look tough at all until you start to play. There are a few par 4s that are drivable with tough greens. Lots of trees along fairways and in the the middle of the fairways
Liked the layout
Liked it. Will play there again. Beers were a great price. A couple of fair holes, but also, some holes were very challenging.
Average Track
Nothing special. Got the Hot Deal for $18. Friendly staff, cheap beers. Tight course, nothing really to it. Good for beginners, not if you want to go out and enjoy the scenery that some of the other courses on here have to offer. A couple of holes on the back nine, you are literally playing in someone's backyard. I'd recommend, but don't expect too much.
Perfect Golf Weather
It was perfect weather, played late afternoon. This course provided a moderate level of challenge. Really liked the variety of holes.
discount made it bearable
This was not my first time playing this course. I've seen this course be in considerably better condition.
Unfortunately quite a few fairways were burnt out or rock hard, the rough was thinned out due to lack of irrigation, and the greens were littered with unrepaired ball marks.
The course seems to be losing out to some of the higher priced courses in the area because there was hardly anyone out on the course.
In the end this course is fairly wide open except for a handful of holes, good for beginners or low intermediates, and worth the HOT DEAL on golfnow.
Great condition considering weather
After a couple days of pouring rain, I wasn't sure what to expect, but to my surprise while the course was moist, it was not soaked. Very well maintained. I will be playing again very soon
Stay away unless your a hacker
The pro shop is a shed...not very professional. The round took 5 hours to play and conditions were awful. The greens rolled about as fast as a snail. Stay away from this place it's not even worth the $18 I paid for the round.
Nice course
First time there, staff was very friendly and helpful. Not overcrowded, comfortable pace. Back 9 a bit awkward because you literally are in a neighborhood with houses all around the tee boxes. All around good course though.
Didn't finish our round
The course was great and in good condition. We had a tee time of 7:52am. We arrived at 7:30am to a line of other golfers waiting for the staff to arrive and open up the course. A woman showed up at 7:50 open the pro shop. We decided to start on the back 9 at 8am to avoid waiting on everyone who was before us, which was fine. After we played 10-18, we were on the 4th hole when an employee told us we had to be off the course soon so they can set up an outing they were having at 12:30. We played one more hole and left.
Decent enough course for having no tee time till the night before
Overall the course was very fair. It had rained the day before and the course was still extremely wet and did not drain well at all. There were numerous holes that hand standing water on them. If you need a quick place to get on at a decent price, this will do the trick.
Good Condition, Back 9 Tight
The course was in good condition considering the time of year. I played with a friend on a Saturday morning, and we played in 3 hours 20 minutes. I don't think we saw another group after we teed off. Greens were rolling well and the front 9 is wide open. The back 9 is way tighter, and it seems they had to squeeze some holes in to make them all fit. #11 is one of the most gimicky holes I've ever played. Other than that, really enjoyed the round, fair price for the layout and course condition. Definitely would recommend for a mid to high handicapper.
Bumpy
My biggest issue was with the fairways. They were basically about 1-2" high grass, and very bumpy.
The pace of play was really good however ... noone pushing us, and we werent pushing anyone. We we out about 12:30pm.
Surprisingly, the bunkers were relatively decent (not hard dirt as I was expecting).
Overall, decent for the price.
Looking good!
I believe the course is under new ownership. And it's coming along really well. Course is looking good
