About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Perfect Golf Weather
It was perfect weather, played late afternoon. This course provided a moderate level of challenge. Really liked the variety of holes.
discount made it bearable
This was not my first time playing this course. I've seen this course be in considerably better condition.
Unfortunately quite a few fairways were burnt out or rock hard, the rough was thinned out due to lack of irrigation, and the greens were littered with unrepaired ball marks.
The course seems to be losing out to some of the higher priced courses in the area because there was hardly anyone out on the course.
In the end this course is fairly wide open except for a handful of holes, good for beginners or low intermediates, and worth the HOT DEAL on golfnow.
Great condition considering weather
After a couple days of pouring rain, I wasn't sure what to expect, but to my surprise while the course was moist, it was not soaked. Very well maintained. I will be playing again very soon
Stay away unless your a hacker
The pro shop is a shed...not very professional. The round took 5 hours to play and conditions were awful. The greens rolled about as fast as a snail. Stay away from this place it's not even worth the $18 I paid for the round.
Nice course
First time there, staff was very friendly and helpful. Not overcrowded, comfortable pace. Back 9 a bit awkward because you literally are in a neighborhood with houses all around the tee boxes. All around good course though.
Didn't finish our round
The course was great and in good condition. We had a tee time of 7:52am. We arrived at 7:30am to a line of other golfers waiting for the staff to arrive and open up the course. A woman showed up at 7:50 open the pro shop. We decided to start on the back 9 at 8am to avoid waiting on everyone who was before us, which was fine. After we played 10-18, we were on the 4th hole when an employee told us we had to be off the course soon so they can set up an outing they were having at 12:30. We played one more hole and left.
Decent enough course for having no tee time till the night before
Overall the course was very fair. It had rained the day before and the course was still extremely wet and did not drain well at all. There were numerous holes that hand standing water on them. If you need a quick place to get on at a decent price, this will do the trick.
Good Condition, Back 9 Tight
The course was in good condition considering the time of year. I played with a friend on a Saturday morning, and we played in 3 hours 20 minutes. I don't think we saw another group after we teed off. Greens were rolling well and the front 9 is wide open. The back 9 is way tighter, and it seems they had to squeeze some holes in to make them all fit. #11 is one of the most gimicky holes I've ever played. Other than that, really enjoyed the round, fair price for the layout and course condition. Definitely would recommend for a mid to high handicapper.
Bumpy
My biggest issue was with the fairways. They were basically about 1-2" high grass, and very bumpy.
The pace of play was really good however ... noone pushing us, and we werent pushing anyone. We we out about 12:30pm.
Surprisingly, the bunkers were relatively decent (not hard dirt as I was expecting).
Overall, decent for the price.
Looking good!
I believe the course is under new ownership. And it's coming along really well. Course is looking good
The course was a little above good
The staff has done a good job and are still working to bring the course back into shape after a tough winter. They experienced a bad ice strom this winter and a lot of tree damage. All the limbs are off the course , but still in piles. The grees are good , but they are working on the sand traps. All in all they are realy trying hard to correct all conditions.
Early Season Round
Great value! Course was in decent shape. Greens were nice. Cart paths pretty rough.
overall pretty good
The cartpaths need work. $2.50 hotdogs were lousy! Some large downed branches need to be removed, but I think this course will get a bit better as the season goes on.
Great value
The course was in good condition for this time of year, especially the greens. The pace was very good as I played in less than 3 1/2 hours.
was a great time and the people who work here made it even a bit better
This time of year this course is in great shape. Looking forward to playing here a lot more. Staff is great.
The course was in decentshape for late autumn.
The tee boxes and sand traps needed some work. The greens and fairways were in good condition. We had a good meal at the bar after our round.
Excellent for the price.
Very nice Autumn round. Conditions were good for the price. Would definitely play again.
Greens were lighting fast
The staff was very friendly. I got off at my time . The course was in good condition with in great shape. The rough was a little long but manageable. The greens are large and very fast. Less break than they show. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Good course, fast greens.
The course is in good shape. For the most part it is wide open, so let it rip off the tee. #8 and #17 the pins were in bad spots. Your approach should be below the hole. All in all I like the course and would play it again.
