About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Below average.
Below average the day I was there. I have golfed there before and the course was at least average, but not this time.
Not bad
Not great course conditions but it's not crowded, so not a bad time. Could be better with some maintenance.
Very nice value.
Nice course, with friendly staff. Course was in pretty good shape considering the weather we just had.
decent
if you get a good price for limerick then go for it. conditions were okay, not the best. Greens and tee boxes (recently aerated) were in rough shape. made it difficult to see lines and putt well
Front 9 OK, Greens need attention
Average golf course, playing from the blue is a good idea.
Some of the greens need real attention, for example- hole no-11 which is dog leg left...the area near the flag almost was like a patch of rough.
Some of the back 9 holes are challenging due to close tree lines and homes:)
The staff in the pro shop and course are very cordial which is a positive for the course.
May play again if I get a good reasonable price.
Consistently improving +++ Needs drinking water on course.
I haven't played Limerick in years. The word around town is that it was much improved and I'm happy to agree. Fun and well maintained again. Greens were in great shape and fast. The only bad green is the 11th as it was years ago it's location seems to hinder it's health. Be sure to take enough water as no water is to be found on the course. All in all had a fun day. Glad I went back
Course not problem players are
First time playing this course in 4 years. Course in better shape then before. Greens would of been fine if players fixed ball marks. Slow play looks like a problem too. Just lack of experience on this course
Nice Greens and Fairways.
The course overall was in fine shape everything was fresh cut on a Friday morning. The greens rolled very nice and were super sticky on long shots. The fairways were maintained at an average level and rough was short enough that it was tough to lose a ball. My biggest gripe was the tee boxes I like a nice level tee box and what was there was lumpy and torn up. This could be solved by changing tee locations more often but overall the course was nice and the price was right!
slow play
3 hours to play nine holes. We quit after 10 and went home. No apparent attempt by course mgt to speed slow play.
Great Price, Great course
The course was in great shape except for the bunkers. Most were not raked, and a bunch had standing water on them. But other than that, the course was in great condition. Which was a bit of a surprise after reading some of the reviews on golfnow before i booked.
Nice course
Overall a very nice layout and good value. The tee boxes are a little too firm, rough is pretty thick. Greens were fast and some had diseases. Tight to houses on the second nine, could be somewhat intimidating for a beginner.
Nice course for the money
This course played well. The greens played true to the layout. The bunkers need a little more attention as some were almost dried out completely. Other that that, the fairways were easily seen and greens were well maintained. I would play this course more if it wasn't so far away...about a 45 minute drive.
The course was over booked!
First hole had 14 people waiting to tee off when I arrived. Most people I have seen on this course at one time ever; totally packed. I only got through 5 holes before walking away in complete frustration. Could not get a rhythm going...too much sitting time in the cart. At this pace I was looking at a 6+ hour round.
Good Value for the money
Greens are in good shape, good value for the money.
This course was bad
The only nice thing about limerick golf course was the club house and bar. Every tee box was just dirt with some grass and was hard as a rock. The fairways looked good till u hit from them and they were also hard as a rock. Greens were not to bad. But all around I won't be going back. Good thing I didn't have to pay full price.
fun course to paly
Course was in great shape, well manacured, clean and very enjoyable to play. staff was excellent, great value for the money
Confidence builder
A good course to help build confidence in your game. Even if you miss the fairways by a lot you'll find few thin lies, but not excessively punishing rough, and the relative flatness means few difficult lies, so you'll have more chances to actually make a shot as opposed to just hacking out. The greens are fairly slow but have enough undulation to make you read your putts correctly to be successful. Low handicappers will find plenty of opportunities to bend the ball around obstacles both from the tee and the fairway making it more interesting if you are playing with someone who needs confidence building.
