AIRIATED GREENS
Maybe wind blew some sand from the holes in the greens. Very hard to putt. Give it a week and the course will play great.
Nice layout
It’s a very good and demanding course. You need to hit fairways which are used a lot by carts that should be a 90 degree rule on a lot of fairways. Some people just ride straight down the fairways and tracks are everywhere. They also get a TON of play on the greens and people don’t know how to fix their ball marks. The greens are like the us open. VERY FAST!! but all and all it’s a nice course to play needs just a little TLC.
Great shape in a tough summer.
Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways also good.
Rough had areas of burnout due to the hot dry summer.
Challenging but fair
Challenging but fair course. Great layout with fast sloping greens. Be prepared to hit almost every club in your bag. Staff was beyond friendly and welcoming to first time visitors. Looking forward to returning.
Lots of room for improvement
Upon arriving, I had to stand and wait while pro shop workers huddled and talked about their previous games. Finally, one of them decided MAYBE a customer should be waited on. His question was, "can I help you, Bub?" Bub? I was wearing my TPC Sawgrass hat and shirt, which I had recently played, along with expensive Oakley sunglass and a new Garmin S62 watch. I don't expect to be refered to as "Bub". (Also, I am 62, not some young kid) Oh, and finding the cart guy/starter became a man hunt. He was nowhere to be found!
The course itself was fine with the exception of very slow players. No course Ranger? By the 10th, we were backed up 4 groups, and it just got worse. On a Tuesday?
We decided to grab a hot dog and drink and hope it thinned out. We were kindly informed that the inside tables were only for people who ordered off the menu. The patio was only for takeout. No problem, we went to the patio saw the sign, "take out only" but then noticed 2 tables ordering from the menu! Make up your minds!
Some serious employee training is needed here. I now understand why many of my golf friends refuse to play here.
TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!
That was part of my career, these employees would likely be replaced at any major course.
Very Nice Course...and Challenging!
The course is very pretty and well kept. It is challenging in that it is hilly and has a fair amount of water and sand hazards. Fun to play! We had a great time as usual!
Challenging course for first time players,. Tough for beginners.
Fairway sand traps are placed right around driver distance so control is important. Good sand. A little hilly, but it's Western PA golf. Greens were is great shape for the recent dried conditions. Price is a little steep, but Golf Now had some good times with great rates. Carts have GPS and COVID-19 driver\passenger dividers if desired.
Money grab
8 minute tee times simply don't work. Especially with so many parallel fairways, many blind shots, AND NO RANGER on a Sunday. Every teebox had 2 or 3 groups waiting to tee off. Five hour rounds take the fun away...
Second time playing here. Gave it a second chance because we remembered nice greens, the tee sheet looked wide open online, and it was only $50 (compared to their usual $70/person). Upon arrival, the starter said they had over 150 golfers before us and expected another 50 before days end. And the greens showed the wear! Too bumpy to hold a line.
Probably won't be back and will NEVER pay full price to be part of a meat factory...
Loved the layout
This is an excellent value course, nice layout, good conditions and very friendly staff. I look forward to coming back
