About
Opened in 1923, Reading Country Club is one of the area's oldest golf courses. Located less than a half hour from King of Prussia, the course is easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Berks County area. Though it has a traditional layout that doesn't have the length that most modern courses do, that hasn't stopped it from being one of the most challenging public golf courses in Berks County. The rolling terrain provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. The course will test you with lightning fast, undulating greens that are protected by sand traps and there is punishing rough bordering the narrow, tree-lined fairways. Be prepared for uphill shots and blind approaches throughout the golf course. Reading Country Club's par 3s are especially notable for their difficulty.

Great placement of forward tees
Great placement of the forward tees! Most courses just throw the forward tees a few yards up but the placement at RCC was intentional and welcomed. Traveled over an hour to get there, will definitely be back.

gr8 day to smell the grass
I have played RCC for many years, today was one of the best....did not shoot well, my wife beat me,even though she plays 1000 yds less ( haha)......the course was gr8 the weather was perfect n the pace was fine.......I will be back
100 years young
Course is celebrating its 100th anniversary. It is in terrific shape, although the bunkers could use some work. Old school layout & not very long but a terrific variety of holes .

it was a perfect day and the course conditions were the best is years.....greens a little slow but well maintained ......fairways well cur........bunkers we will leave fo another day (maybe)
not RCC greens
i have played RCC for years and yes in Feb but today was a bust.....if was gr8 to play but the greens were BAD,,,,,,,,I know it is Feb and the lack of creww but they could have at least been rolled......otherwise it was a fine day and we played with to very nice guys,,,,,,,no biggie just a bump in the road but you asked............will be back weather permitting
Great course for the value!
Great course for the value, conditions were nice considering the minimal amount of rain we’ve had. Pace of play was good and each hole kept me interested! I went as a solo and got paired up with another solo who was friendly and made for an enjoyable round! For 50 something $, the value is on point. I live an hour away from RCC (live in Philadelphia) and will be making a trip back here eventually.
