Hot Day
It was almost 100 and there was a lot of shade and the course was in great shape!
Nice course slow play.
Nothing worse then playing behind some wantabee PGA guys. Looking over every shot like they actually have the skill to stick it on from 245 after a 175 yard drive. Also better not stop for food on the turn. Otherwise you might lose your turn on 10. However I do have to say the course is in good shape and the staff is nice. Just wish the pace of play wasn't so slow. This experience isn't unusual for me at Honeyrun. 2 out of my last 3 rounds were painful slow. If it wasn't such a nice course I wouldn't go back.

Course improving
The course took a beating most of last year but they are starting to get it back in shape.

Had to play front nine twice due to aeration of greens. Greens were the only issue but it’s a temporary problem. Love this course.

Course conditions
Course was a little too wet, but it is spring time so can’t expect it to be to dry. For myself I would wait till it dries out a bit.

This course is good old school Jim Furyk played this course and some other pro's
Pace of play is so bad 6 hours to play 17 holes we couldn't take it anymore no manegement around if u don't have 5 or 6 hours to play stay away

The greens are PERFECT
Course had a lot of damage from the recent rains. A few holes are cart path only and number 11 has been forced to play as a par 3 instead of its normal par 4 length. However the greens are in such GREAT shape you will easily overlook the wet conditions. I can wait to go back when the course dries out.
