Fun Course
Today was cart path only as it was wet from the last storm. The course has a fun layout with many dogleg holes. They have 5 sets of tees which can make it much more challenging for those of skill or less challenging for those that just want to have fun.
Honey Run was a good experience
We had a tee time of 1:27 and a lot of rain was in the forecast. They let us go off about 45 minutes early, which was a big help. Fairways and rough were in nice shape. The only disappointment I had was the number of ball marks on the greens. Unfortunately, it seemed that other golfers were not taking care of this. Other than that, a great day. We will be back.
Fine Course
Most of this course is wide open, but it is a good mix of challenges. Not too many steep hills (except the par 3 9th hole in which you must club-up at least two clubs).
Will run back to honey run!
The weather was phenomenal, it was a league night so a little busy but pace of play was great. Had so much fun and will 1000% be back.
Honey Run
Course is in great condition. Greens were rolling well. Staff is always polite.
Frustrating
Should be mandatory that you tell people that you punched the greens!
Drove almost 2 hours to play and absolutely disgusted that they don’t bother to inform you of the conditions!
Won’t be back.
Great Fall conditions
Play here several times a year. Was a little concerned about leaves for a November round, as they have been a problem at some courses. Honey Run had done a great job of clearing the leaves. None in most of the fairways and few in the rough areas. Bunker conditions were among the best of the courses played this year. Greens were in great shape.
The layout is moderately challenging with some longish par 3 and 4's. There are five sets of tees (we seniors used III) so you can suit the length to your game. The first five holes are relatively tough and I'd rate only five holes overall as easy.
