The Club at Brookstone

Definitely one of the nicer courses I've played. It's a very challenging course with narrow greens and plenty of hills that come into play at each hole. The cart path was consistent and easy to follow. The cart was very comfortable. You do have to cross the road at times but it's not a very busy road. After the 1st hole you cross under the road to hole #2 which was very convenient. Greens were in great shape and the fairways were mowed and not overgrown.

Very hilly layout. Hurricane had gone through and trees and debris still present.concrete pathway could use repair. Fairways were reasonable.very undulating greens, very fast downgrain. Very nice pra tice facility . Available scooters for the adventurous.

Course was in really awesome shape! Staff guys were nothing but kind to us. Everyone there was nice! Course layout was a lot of fun to play. The price is more than reasonable.

I book 2 or 3 consecutive tee times for my group play. Has anyone heard of 4 minute tee time spacing before? I never have, typically 8 or 10 minute spacing between tee times at any of over a dozen different courses we play in upstate SC. Frustrating pace of play when you are all crammed in with 4 minute spacing. Will NOT be playing this course again until they change back to normal, sensible tee time spacing.

They have really improved this course over the last year or so. The practice areas are in great shape, the new driving range with the trackman. The club house is beautiful. The tee boxes are overall pretty decent, a few rough ones. The fairways are in great shape. The greens are a bit bumpy but roll OK, and the speed is on the faster side. The carts are brand new (at least the ones we rode today had a manufacturer date of Sept. 2024) they have scooters, too! This course has really become a standout in the area. They layout is challenging, and if you struggle off the tee, this is where it'll hurt you. Pace of play is usually an issue but not terribly.

Some construction to add to the course by the pro shop. Great course, great staff and equipment.

First time playing this course. It was in great shape and fun to play. Trackman driving range covered with couches to sit on. Friendly staff.

We had a great time playing. Can't wait to get with my friends again and do it all over.

Course was fantastic, greens were rolling very true and fast!

Really fun Course because of the variations of hole configurations. Greens were in great shape. Fairways very playable. It’s a challenging course to maintain. Many of the cart paths need repair and redirecting. If golfers will stop parking right next to paths around the greens there would be less bare areas. The Trackman Driving Range is incredible w outdoor furniture for groups to enjoy hanging out while hitting on the range.
