Playing just 6,642 yards from the tips, The Landing at Pleasant Point is a pleasing play for all level of golfer, making it one of the most popular golf courses in the Hilton Head region.
A Russell Breeden design, The Landing at Pleasant Point features rolling fairways and spectacular views. One of its main draws, however, is its price tag: It's one of the most affordable golf courses in the area.
Normally in good condition, it's a golf course that will reward accuracy and punish shots of folly; it's not too hard though, with a moderate 130 slope rating from the tips.
Nature lovers will enjoy the wildlife on the golf course. You'll see plenty of critters wandering about, and perhaps even deer or alligators.

The Landings
Nice la,out. No rain has made conditions a bit rough..but a great deal so we endured. Lots of wildlife on the course due to man, holes with water.
Great value
For the price, the course is a great value. Layout was good. Staff helpful. The course was a bit weedy but still playable. You can't be the value.

Had a great time playing this course!! But the course was so dry grass has not greened up in all of the fairways but we are in drought conditions here in the South
A very public type course
The fairways were thin to no grass at all
Greens were OK but not great
Tea boxes were fair
They must not have sprinklers. It’s a decent layout, but horrible condition.
course getting better
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are good a few have some small bad patches. Like playing the course. It has some challenging holes.
Good course for the money
Nice course for the cost and availability. Not too many public options nearby, so this was a good choice. Course, fairways, greens, and cart paths all in need of care. Fine for a visit, but I won't go back. Actually lost a phone on bumpy paths...worth a visit though and can get a deal around 11:00 am.

Course in good shape
Course is in good condition the greens are in good condition. The tee boxes are very much improved. A few of the holes are challenging to play. It has become a nice course to play.
Course is a very good layout
Course has a very nice layout and could be very challenging if given a little TLC!
Giving some exception to excessive rainfall the course was in need of mowing, tees were nearly bare on several holes, what mowing being done to fairways was poor due to uneven and apparently dull blades, greens could be very nice but need aerated.
Needs some work
Not a terrible course, but definitely needs several improvements on multiple fronts. Fairways were in decent shape, but several greens had really bad patches. No on course water coolers, which for South Carolina in July is not acceptable. The staff needs to work on their customer service as well, not rude, but no where near friendly. Overpriced for where things are right now.
