I always enjoy this course. The back nine and crossing the Black River is an unexpected treat. Lots of challenging holes.

Having never played there before (nor met anyone who had), I had no preconceived notions. The layout is fantastic and I immediately saw why they had hosted Nike events in the past. Conditions were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The ONLY bummer was that there was no food available at 1:00pm on a Sunday. Not even a hotdog. By the time I wrapped up, I was starving. Other than that, a great experience

I’ve been playing this course a few times each year for over 25 years. This is the worst shape i have seen the course. Greens were bouncy and many had some bare spots. Fairways were below average compared to other courses in the area. Sand traps were more like packed dirt.

It's still early in the season so course is just beginning to green up. Fairways will need water and fertilizer to fill in. Greens rolled nicely but also need a little tlc. But I enjoyed myself.

Would have been 5 stars but as we were leaving the 4th green a couple of players jumped on the 5th tee box. Which caused play to slow down. When we caught up to them at the 7th tee box I asked what tee they started on. One of the players said I'm a member and we played the back first and the front was full. They tried to be confrontational but I refused to be drawn into it. All I did was ask a question which made them defensive because they knew it was wrong.

I dont understand why thé Group belote us play at 6 player ??

Very well maintained. A few tee boxes could use improvement. Alot of dog legs and greens quick. This is 1-1/2 hours from home, but worth the drive. Would definitely plan on returning.

The course was a decent layout, the greens were healing from aeration, which isn't unusual this time of year, but there were many places around the fairways and greens where it seemed the mower blades weren't level and the grass was scalped. The biggest disappointment was, being about 85 degrees out, that there wasn't a single place outside of the pro shop to get a drink. No coolers, no beverage cart and the one water fountain i found wasn't working. So make sure to stock up on beverages before you leave the pro shop.

We enjoyed playing this course. The foursome in front of us ,we were a twosome,kept apologizing for taking so long but it was no problem,the round was still played in four hours. The course was in excellent condition. The only criticism I had was that there was no water on the course or cart girl.

Even though I’m not a member here I consider this my home course. Love the layout and the pace of play is usually very good. With a friendly staff and good course conditions you cannot go wrong playing here.
