Woodlands/Meadows at Traces Golf Club, The

Very nice semi-private course. Well maintained and ran through several neighborhoods… and houses are everywhere.

Course was in great shape. Pace of play was on the money. Best golf course to play in Florence s.c.

Course is easily accessible off I-20 and I-95. 27 holes, well kept driving range, sand bunker practice area, and putting green. Course provides interesting shots. 3 Pars are mostly mid-irons but many well protected.

My first time playing the course staff is very friendly came out of the pro shop and showed us exactly where to go. Front 9 was very relaxing pace of play was very good course condition. Very nice, greens are a little bit slow, but they did Roll True. We did let a single play Through. The second nine was a different story was not as relaxing as the front night. We had some members behind us playing from the red tees. So we felt like we’re being pushed, even though they only waited for maybe a minute or two. We finished our round under four hours, which I thought the pace of play was right on time.Not sure if I will play again anytime soon. not because of Course conditions or staff.

Had a round to remember with my Dad. Was in the local area to get work done on my boat and decided to play golf. I am glad we did at Traces. Great, welcoming and truly authentic staff and course was fun. Its open which I enjoyed while challenging enough to make it exciting. Good course conditions.

We arrived in town from Texas for the Nascar races at Darlington. Our Friday plans got changed which allowed a free afternoon. We contacted the course about playing and they got us out in 30 mins and provided clubs to use. There hospitality was absolutely incredible and we can't thank them enough. The course was in spectacular shape with an interesting layout. It's not a tough course by any means but very enjoyable for an afternoon. We started at 1:40pm and played 27 holes by 6:00. All the patrons let us pass since we were faster players which is much appreciated. We highly recommend playing if the opportunity presents itself.

We played the Meadows and Creekside 9s. Course was in excellent condition despite a deluge of rain the night before. Pace of play got a little slow on the second 9 but not too bad.

Had fun as usual playing 18 and in great weather. Broke a 100 for the 2nd time in a month. Love the course and the staff is great.

This course is well worth the money. It has the same shortfalls as most muni's. Poor bunkers, cart paths need work, bald areas due to excessive wear, etc. But overall it is an exceptional value. I caught it on a hot deal, therefore it was pretty cheap. The staff was very friendly and the course was fun to play.
