VALUE
$25 to walk 12 holes on a par 3 is overpriced. If you want a pull cart it is extra . Can pay very little extra and ride 18 on a regular course.
Update the description!
Great course for anyone. I’m a very new golfer but wasn’t intimidated by the pace of play at all! One thing to know is the description is a bit misleading. The course is a total of 18 holes however the first 6 are reserved for members only, thus rendering them unplayable to regular golfers. For 20 to 30 dollars you get upgraded amenities and 12 holes. I have limited experience so this is just my 2 cents. I’ll definitely go again as I had a blast. Oh and the grilled burger was awesome!
Used to be much better.
Reservation says 18 holes but 6 holes have been eliminated.
You only play 12 holes and pay full.
Amenities are nicer now but who cares.
Need to return to 18 hole play not 12. Very disappointing.
Fun Par 3
The course was in good condition. Very fun layout. Great playing out there and would love to play there again!
Fun course
Overall everything was fine. My main problem was with golfnow. Their course description said carts, but did not state pull carts. So when me and my wife showed up with our bad knees and backs it was a shock. We only played 6 of the 12 holes which golfnow said had 18. This wasn't the courses fault. Young or in good shape it would be really fun. Has a bar and grill. Food smelled great and appear to be a full bar. Also it is basically full sun, so hydrate. Have fun.
It’s Ok/Not bad
First off, I would like to say this course has a cool atmosphere and the greens were in pretty good shape, but the fact that it only has 12 holes, sucks. The old course played 18 holes and had a cheaper overall price. With the new owners you are paying more for 6 less holes.
A lot of course in a compact area
I thought the course was excellent. Greens and fairways were very good. This was my first time playing here but will definitely not be my last. Staff was friendly and informative. Great par 3 course.
Sharpen your short game
Last time I played the course the greens were plagued. But they have worked hard to bring them back and it shows. The best par 3 I have played by far. Score well here and you can play anywhere!!!
"Cross Winds" says it all. Course designed by many well knowned desgners and enjoyable.
Night lights for those who want to play late and course is quite challenging. I was pleasantly surprised that it is a Par-e course. There is no mention of this at time of booking since I rarely check on length of oourse.
Wrong course
I chose this course called Crosswinds as it was close to Savannah GA. To all, double check the address as there appears to be many courses named Crosswinds. The staff was very good about my mistake and offered a lower rate but the thrill was gone.
Again always double check GOLF Now because a coastal GA search has a 200 mile radius....
Again the staff at the course was great
Great Eighteen
My experience was excellent, however the majority of the greens were in pretty rough shape.
Great Find
We were in Greenville, SC for a day and a half. On our way through we were trying to find a nice course to play early the next morning. We could not find an early tee time, until we looked at Crosswinds par 3 course. The holes were designed by several PGA professionals, and was really a lot of fun! My wife and oldest son played with me, and we had a blast. I would highly recommend this course to help hone your iron play! Jim, the owner, was very hospitable! FUN!!!
Excellent Value
Played this course for the first time. I was very impressed with the facilities considering the price. The course is very technical, especially for a par 3 course. Shot placement is key or you will spend a lot of time in the sand. Some of the greens were being repaired and looked more like bunkers, but at least they are improving them. It is a great course for someone with a limited schedule or looking to improve their short game.
Very nice par 3 course
This is not what you would expect from a par 3 course. The holes are interesting and greens are quick and not flat. I very good challenge for any level player. Enjoy....
Nice 3 par course
Very changeling course, lots of hills and sand pits, and narrow fairways. very fun and nicely priced.
Challenging course
Great course, great price. Course was in good condition. Pace of play was exceptional
A Fun Course
Get a little exercise on this nicely manicured walking facility. Small fast greens. Overall enjoyable day out.
nice little par 3
Can play all 18 in about 2 hours. Great to build your golf game up. Course is decently difficult. Gives me a lot of New confidence on the golf course from 150yds in
Fun Course
This is a fun course that test your short game. The greens are well kept. Will definitely be back.
Best scoring workout!
This course is manicured and challenging. A great workout for scoring and short game. If you can score well here.....you can score well ANYWHERE. Greens are in superb shape and fast!! Great for any skill level.
