The Preserve at Verdae

Great course has some challenging holes. The greens were recently pinched so putting wasn’t that great.

I was in town visiting from Seattle and was able to get out for a round on Sunday. I had a late afternoon tee time and it was cart part only so I was fighting the setting sun to get all 18 holes in. There was heavy rain the night before that made for some soggy patches around the course and a couple of the traps had standing water in them. Overall, the course was in good shape and the pace of play wasn't too bad. The course has some challenging holes (#3, 4, 9 and 13) that requires you to make some smart shots. In another month or two, the course will be in perfect playing conditions.

Course was challenging yet fun. Would love to play it again in the spring or fall. Should be beautiful.

Challenging track. Greens had just been sanded so they were slow and inconsistent. Some holes are blind. Hole layouts are necessary or you will hit it in the stuff you can’t see

In town, Greenville SC, with the wife for her girl's get together. Brought the clubs just in case. Picked The Preserve based on the reviews and photos. Good move on my part. The course was in great shape. Holes are spacious and tree lined without homes. Personnel was friendly and accommodating. The range is large with separate chipping and putting areas. My only knock was the greens played slower than I'm accustomed. I will definitely play this one again.

Had a good time playing. The Marshall was kind of power tripping, but once we got going it was okay. Pace of play really slowed on the back 9. Overall, good course for the price

A lot of blind shots, but this is a great golf course that’s in really good shape. Played from the senior tees so it wasn’t long , but better be accurate

75 dollars for this course is a little pricey to me, the course was nice but absolutely flooded I guess from all the rain we have been getting. If you come as a 1 person or 2 person they will make you pair up, 4 to a group from what I could see, the pace was pretty decent though, not too slow. This should be a 50 dollar weekend course though. fair warning if you miss the fairway even by a little on some holes you won’t find it. Lost a ball 15 foot from the green, overall I’d go back but wouldn’t visit every weekend it’s too pricey

Course was in great shape, greens were very nice and fast, but not as fast as I’ve seen them. This could be from all of the rain we had received the few days before playing it. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have a great driving range with natural grass and mats, on this day the only thing open were the mats and I prefer to hit off of the natural grass. Will definitely go back again.

Verdae as I've always called it is a solid public course that is very convenient and in great condition. Some of the holes had some standing water on them but that's to be expected considering the amount of rain we have received. Overall a great round and value for the money.
