This course is very well maintained... Greens fantastic .. However pace of play very slow ...

The course is in good shape and it was a great day, however when you get stuck behind 2 GROUPS OF 6....it makes for a long day. There wasn't marshall until I called to ask about the very slow play.

The pro shop was very dismissive and tried to tell me that it was just busy, but when I talked to the marshall he gave different information. It is just disappointing to be stuck behind large groups and the course allowing groups of 6, instead of grouping them in 3s. it has never taken almost 6 hours there.

There greens are well maintained, as well as fairways great golf for such a great price would play here over and over again by far the best non- private golf course in Bakersfield

Course conditions were poor and definietly not worth the $45. Took over 5 hours to play 17 holes, and just decided to bypass hole 18, due to time. Staff seemed to do nothing about the delay and long game play. For being in the dessert, you would expect at least some water buckets, with water in them.

Staff was very friendly and only charged me the course rate instead of the GolfNow rate on my reservation that was higher. Fairways are not in very good condition probably because of the time of year. Greens are challenging.

Great course, sometimes it gets over booked. Greens are usually decently maintained.

Course stays in good condition. Could do something about the ducks though.

Course was in good conditions, greens were great. Checked in with starter and had to wait for 3 groups to go. Thought it would be slow but it wasn't and had a great time at the course.

Carts are junk, had to have them bring out another because the cart quit. No marshalls on the course so the the boys who are playing a money game are on the green for 10-12 minutes. The greens are pretty beat up. This used to be a nice corse.

The course is just OK but the carts are junk they will pull to the right or the left and batteries are week, the staff acts like you are there to serve them!

If you don't mind spending 5+ hours on the course, then this course is for you. It was in decent shape and has a good layout, but the pace of play is extremely slow and the course allows too many 5-somes to play which doesn't help. No one wants to let you play through but they don't want to speed up either, so get ready for a long day of golf if you want to play this course.

This course is in good shape. It can play easy from the white tees but it becomes much more difficult from the further tees.

Course is in great shape for this time of year. The greens are as little slower than I like but were consistent throughout the round and in very good shape. Challenging water hazards and numerous fairway and green-side bunkers make you "think" club selection.

We live on the 9th fairway and find the view absolutely beautiful, every single day. That being said, we often see 5-somes playing through and very few women.
The 5-somes definitely slow the pace of play and they are often not dressed appropriately for the game of golf.
As an avid woman golfer, I checked into a Ladies Day and was told to "just show up on Monday". I would like to participate in an organized Women's Club at Riverlakes.
If I had just one request to better the overall look of the course, it would be "sweep the cart paths"!

COURSE IS LOOKING GOOD FOR A LOT OF SUMMER TOURNEYS AND PLAY. THEY TRY TO KEEP THE COURSE ALWAYS PLAYABLE AND LOOKING GOOD.
THE PRACTICE FACILITY IS VERY NICE AND FUNCTIONAL.
12 LAKES AND 118 BUNKERS MAKE IT CHALLENGING.

Little hard to play on when you slice your ball or hate water. Truly a fun course go play Bakersfield.
