Golfer Reviews
Slow play
Golfers in front of us were slow & playing more than one ball each. Kept having to wait for them to go the whole course. Frustrating, no one likes to golf and then wait to play your next shot!
Better in Summer
Because the grass had gone dormant, many fairway lies were on bare dirt. The greens and tee boxes were good. I am a single, so the starter worked me in with some interesting people. The pace of play was good but the cold and windy weather reduced the enjoyment
Slow play
Two guys in front of us played more than one ball and slowed the pace way down. A lot of waiting. Took too long to play. Getting dark when we finished.
Has a money grb experience!
This course is the same cost as most country clubs, but without the country club experience. They didn't have enough keys for their carts, so we had to wait for keys to come in. They charge $35 for a spectator. The carts are supper slow. The sand is hard pack dirt, not sand. Pace was behind from hole one. Our tee time was 12:45 and we were not able to finish the round by dark at 5:30. Overall the course wasn't bad, but management could drastically improve the customer experience.
They don't welcome GolfNow members
1. I usually go to course an hour ahead of my tee time. When checking in, they always comment. 'Normally, we don't check you in until 30 min prior, because I didn't pay full price.' I only asked if there's a slot I can play. Which will help them fill in the space and take on another group for my original time. I believe it's win win situation.
2. Carts don't have windshield even on cold windy weather. They told me it's expensive.
3. No SAND in any bunkers. They're all hard dirt surface which will damage any club you'd use. They claim filling the bunkers with sand is expensive, if they fill it, players would end up paying for it. Current green fee is higher than any other courses near by. Course condition isn't any better either. It's not worth the money!
The course was great and semi challenging.
With a great mix of bunkers and water to play around,
It was a great semi challenging course for a player getting back into the game after 15+ years!
