Greens in poor shape
Greens were 1/2 grass and 1/2 sand making it impossible to make a true putt attempt. Well designed course though and overall, I enjoyed the beautiful day.
Barely any greens
Fairways and tee boxes were in decent shape. Greens were very firm and some weren’t even green yet. Good course with a decent layout though. Will go back this summer when it’s in better shape
Just Not Good
So much work to be done at this facility in more ways than I care to name. One and done and slowest round I have played in a very long time.
Good for knocking off the rust
Nice interesting layout, pretty open, but enough trouble to keep it interesting. The greens will ruin your round if you can't putt on fast, sloped greens. Greens were in excellent shape, traps were in good shape and those needing sand had new sand waiting to be spread. Would go again, interested in seeing the course once the grass comes back to life.
Rude Staff
Very rude staff, also made us play with random people we did not know. When asked for raincheck due to pace of play from other players, they said they can't do it because reservations were made online. Not worth the ride out to york
Old, Very Old
The clubhouse is ancient and the downstairs smells like someone died. The fairways are very nice and the course plays fair until the greens. There isn’t a single partially level green in the course. You would think it was a mountainous area when you reach the green.
Waste of time
My girlfriend and I played and I won’t ever do that again. First off it was my girlfriend’s first time playing so I made a later in the day tee time. If someone caught as we would let them play thought. On the 10th hole a older man comes up on his cart and says they have a tournament starting and we would have to play faster. If I’d of known about a tournament we would of played somewhere else. Who starts a tournament in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday? Fairways was like hitting off concrete. Tee box’s where very uneven and in bad shape.
