Spring Lake Country Club

First time playing Spring Lake. I had trouble finding the Pro Shop because of no signs to identify what is what with all the buildings. The course was easy to find our way around the layout. The greens were interesting with pin placement (I think someone had a bad night) on the slopes. Overall it was a good time on the linx. I would play Spring Lake again!

Very challenging course from the white tee. Long par 3, and some par four. Very hard to birdie for an average golfer. had a lot a fun, underrated course.

6.5 for course conditions. Greens and fairways were decent. Bunkers need work - were all clay, no sand really. Fun layout giving some decision making holes. Also, open enough to forgive some errant tee shots. Clubhouse is very dated, but they have everything you would need from snacks to drinks to golf items. Give yourself 10 mins to check in. They don’t have a great system it seems, but they make up for their inefficiencies with friendliness. Decent pace of play; we only waited 2-3 mins on holes and played in 3:54 with 4 people on two tee boxes.

ADVICE: Be careful driving in and out and whole standing on 17 tee. The driving range has no nets protecting the righty slice or long ball from the tee. You could totally get nailed or break a windshield.

Had a great time, fairways are dry and fast. Greens are good. Will play again soon.

I’ve played there many times …it was a little better today.usually by now they have lost the greens, but today they were fair.
