It was like putting on cement the whole time. The designs were impossible to land the ball without it rolling off the back.
Hard to get good score
Greens were in terrible conditions. Unable to keep ball on green or putt. Greens were terrible layout
Enjoyed playing!
Course was in decent shape, but was dry. Greens were very tough as pins were on breaks and rolled off greens numerous times. Fairways were decent just dry. Enjoyed playing, coming back 11/28.
Nice course!
The course was in decent shape, course was pretty dry though, greens were very fast and pin placement was very tough as my ball rolled off the green atleast a 1/2 dozen times. Sand traps were deep but kind of hard. Enjoyed playing the course.
Tale of Two Sides
Front nine: Almost impossible greens. Extreme slopes and crowns for the most part. However with redone greens (start over with a bulldozer), the front nine has a lot of potential.
Back nine: What a wonderful layout and a joy to play. Approaches are at an enjoyable level of difficulty. Greens are designed with the perfect level of challenge. Really enjoyed playing the back nine and wish the front nine was more like the back.
Would give a much higher rating if you could play the back nine twice for a round.
Jay’s Spring Lake Golf Experience
First time playing Spring Lake. I had trouble finding the Pro Shop because of no signs to identify what is what with all the buildings. The course was easy to find our way around the layout. The greens were interesting with pin placement (I think someone had a bad night) on the slopes. Overall it was a good time on the linx. I would play Spring Lake again!
Great round of golf
Very challenging course from the white tee. Long par 3, and some par four. Very hard to birdie for an average golfer. had a lot a fun, underrated course.
