Okay for the $
Greens are decent but the rest of the course is in need of a lot of TLC. That said though very forgiving layout except for one approach shot that you have to go between two very large trees and not be short and fall into the lowland area.
If I lived nearby I would consider playing again just not sure I would drive from the city to play
Highly recommended
Love playing here. very relaxed...way more topography than many courses around Memphis and greens and staff are always great.
The above average greens were the best part of the course. Fairways need repair. Traps were good. Tee boxes need help. Ball washers were dry. Golf cart worked well. It seemed like every shot was a tight lie. Price was good. Staff was friendly.
Great day of golf
With this being my first outing of the year due to weather and life, I wasn’t expecting much. But to my surprise, even with all of the rain we’ve had the past few weeks the course was in awesome shape and the greens (my favorite in the area) were perfect. Not to mention the best and friendliest staff around, they really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your round.
Good course
Greens are large and roll well. Greens are in excellent shape for winter golf.
Course has many challenging holes.
The course is in very good condition except for the bunkers. A lot of rain has taken it's toll on them. Many are washed out and need a lot of new sand worked in.
Great Course Bad Day to Play
Fun and challenging course with rolling fairways (and greens). Seems to play a bit shorter than the course map implies, but a lot of fun. Picked the round day for our first round as the course was packed - definitely overbooked.. Saw a cart with a Marshal flag, but they were playing rather than maintaining pace of the golfers. We wound up playing only nine holes instead of the intended 18. Would definitely return, but would check first.
Never dissapoints
Forest Hill is one of the most fun golf courses in the area, and one of the best values for the money.
Great to be out
Other than it being packed, the course was great. I really loved the greens and how nice they rolled.
Great value fun course
For the money this is one of the best courses to play in the Memphis area
