My home course
Some of the nicest and toughest greens in Knoxville. I've played them all. Nicer than Fox Den. Mostly friendly staff. Love the layout of the course and challenging greens. Only negative is the carts and food. Last 2 times my cart was dead when I got it or flat tire or brake will not hold. And a man likes a hotdog sometimes after the first nine. During midday on Sunday or Saturday. But over all one of my favorite courses in Knoxville. And a value for your money.
Fun track but keep your head on a swivel
Great for the price but was almost hit 5 times because of the layout or maybe the skill of the golfers on the course.
I’d play it again
Great short course
Course is short but greens were in great condition. Little slow but full of grass and rolled true. Lots of slanting fairways so need to know which side to aim for
Gets a bit congested when too many people are out.
Home away from home.
It pains me to write this but something has to be said….I love golf and I love this course. Always have. All my friends play here, and it’s almost always a fun time unless Dave is working. He was extremely rude to me and my friends tonight and this is not the first(or even second) time this has happened. The unnecessary drama and confrontation that he always seems bring to the clubhouse and course has become a nuisance to what is supposed to be a fun time. Playing golf at Whittles when he is working is a hassle instead of a good time. I’m one of the best customers there(I play here almost everyday) and should not be treated the way I’m treated when he is working. Everyone else is great, except for him. His bad attitude is completely uncalled for.
Half the course was closed
Golf now always let you know if greens were aerated or part of course closed. Now buyer beware.
The staff is always helpful and super friendly. Lots of golfers out there yesterday but it moved along as well as could be expected.
Straightforward, good value, nice condition
My only complaint would be the pace of play. It is popular and often crowded.
