Worst shape I have ever seen a course in, giant areas of dirt without grass in the fairways

The course isn’t up to standards but they are putting the work in on the fairways and tee boxes. The greens here are always tough but they were putting so true. My buddy holed a 70 foot putt. Legacy is one my favorite courses around Nashville.

My husband and I played this course, very windy the day we played but definitely a fun course! Some holes are a little to close to houses but overall we enjoyed our day.

I heard a lot of pluses and minuses about this course and that pretty much confirms it..

The layout is challenging and fun..

There were just so many areas where the grass (if any) was still dormant or bare..

Maybe punch the fairways and fertilize to get this place going?

Greens are very challenging, lots of undulations..

Started out really backed up, but pace of play wasn't too bad when it spread out..

Want to give it another try when the course conditions are better

This course has everything you’d look for in a mid-tier cost course. The staff is friendly and helpful, the layout of the course goes from neighborhoods to woods, and it is fun to play.

However, the pin placement on this particular Tuesday was insane. You’d have thought it was championship Sunday. Every par 3 pin placed behind a bunker with relatively no landing area to stay safe. Sure, you want a course to be challenging, but goodness gracious, superintendent.

I loved this course. Easy to book a Tee time in advance — even same day a couple hours before I wanted to play .Courteous rep that I spoke with to create my profile and when I got to the course the clubhouse staff greeted me and welcomed me. I was a single golfer that the pro staff encouraged me to the tee box. They sugggested because I was a single there was another single who was headed to the 10th tee and encouraged me to atempt to pair up. When I got to 10 the single was already off, but a threesome was there and when asked if I could join them, they said sure. Due to my time commitments and the very busy day, I only got to play 7 holes, but will be back. Highly recommend !

Always great course challenge and consistent conditions. We played 18 holes as foursome and loved pace of play. The drive is long from Nashville but worth the experience. We will be back soon.

Played in late April, so the grass is just coming in. Still a little like winter conditions. High winds and dry conditions, and the course had not done a great job keeping up with the watering needs. But, in mid May this course will be in nice shape.

Pace was good, but course was not packed.

Club house not much, but didn't care about that.

First time playing here so maybe I'm missing something. But if you have GPS carts and can see where everyone is at, why are three groups backed up for one very slow foursome? And you GPS stops the cart in the middle of the fairway with absolutely no warning you are approaching an out of bounds area forcing a pain in the butt backing up of the cart. Just not for me.

The course is a bit rough. Bermuda is still pretty dormant. The greens were on the slow side. Nice layout. A lot of elevation changes and a few holes where the greens are perched high about the fairway/tee. Holes 10 and 11 are very difficult with fairways that are almost hard pan, like most of them. We played with a great guy, Jack, who is a member and that was helpful. We paid a $39 “hot deal” rate but I wouldn’t pay more until the course matures in a month or two.

Great layout. Course was still in early season condition. Fairways all brow etc. However... come summer time will be excellent

I was excited to try and take my golf game to a new course being new to TN. I drove over an hour to Legacy and wasn’t impressed upon pulling up. Glimpses of course were brown and dead looking with the only green color being in new tree buds and the putting greens. There was lots of course construction and cart path repair (which was pleasant when driving on newly poured paths). About a third of the pin locations were not in correspondence with what the signs and pro shop told us. Pins were in very obscure and not very friendly positions for about half of the greens as they were on “domed” mounds or crests and very difficult to putt to let alone make good shots into. The pictures on GolfNow do not represent this course well. I wouldn’t go back if I was given a free round there. Benefits? Lots of gorgeous all brink homes around the course.

For 55 to 75 dollars you can play a challenging course with excellend undulating greens and tee boxes with little to no grass on them. What little grass is on em is dead. Fairways were in terrible shape with the dead grass cut super thin and a nice thin layer of mud atop a very hard ground did not do much for helping to get the ball in the air.

We were just looking for a place to play where the weather was nice. For the time of year the course was in good shape. Fairways were brown and cut very short. Greens were just aerated but in good shape. I’m sure in the middle of summer this is a fantastic course. Had a great time playing and would go back.

Great layout it was a little wet and greens were recently punched will definitely be back
