About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Vet who golf's
Course was fun to play and at a great price. Proshop staff was very friendly. The grill staff how ever was not.

Great Layout could use some improvements
I played this course on 8/25/2021 and everything was fairly nice except for a few things, most of the tee boxes for the tips were fairly uneven and made it hard to get set, also could shave the tee boxes down another half inch as they were a little long. The layout of the greens are very nice, if they could find someway to speed them up a little bit that course would be 3x harder with all the slopes in the greens. Driving range and putting green could use some maintenance as it looks like they just have it there to have it. Honestly this place could be a semi private club if it got a little more attention. Other than that it’s a cool course to play, one of those “Hidden Gems” as their rates are only $40 with a cart for 18 during the week, and has a historic look to the clubhouse. I would recommend this to others with no hesitation.

Hot golfer
Like the course, some parts of the fairways need some work but, what was bad was the soft greens allowed for a very large amount of ball marks causing the greens to be so bad by the end of the day. the greens were also just toooooo slow.

Great track
Great course, Great value. It probably doesn't matter to alot, but range and range balls were terrible, such an easy thing.

Hot round, cool course
The Legacy has managed the August heat very well. The course was in great shape. I couldn’t find my phone afterward and the gentleman behind the desk in the clubhouse went out of his way to help me find it. Good people at The Legacy. I’ll be back.
