About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

SLOW PACE PLAY
Took 3 hours to play front nine. No Marshall’s our. People would finish out the hole. Then continue practice putting on greens. Keeping me from hitting. This course was the slowest I’ve ever played. Very disappointed vheard it was a great course

Nice course
The course was wet but playable. Great shape for winter. And we had very heavy rain the day before. Greens in great shape. Challenging course. Will be back!

Course in great shape
The course is in great shape especially for winter golf. Very few soggy spots. As usual the course is a challenge but usually fair! Will be back.

Great Choice while staying in Nashville
Awesome layout. Very fun to play.. They are reworking numerous bunkers at this time that, when compketed will make this course even better.. Cant wait to visit again.. The staff treated us great and were very friendly.. Truly an enjoyable day..

Great condition for the time of year
I’d been wanting to play this course for a while and finally went twice in two weeks. The course itself is gorgeous with some elevated greens and really nice undulating fairways. Greens are in decent shape but they are very tricky. I’ll be back soon!

Cool and breezy December Day
I took my son to play a round on his birthday, December 15 at The Legacy. When we arrived it was in the mid 40's and nobody was on the course. We were early as we planned on hitting the range and putting a bit before we played. When we checked in they told us we could go right off and that there would be a group of "regulars" following us a bit later. However, we had barely hit our approach shots on the first hole when 3 guys showed up on the tee box. Behind them were 2 more groups. They were race horses and playing on our tails the entire time. We finished up in a little over 3 hours and grabbed some food on the turn. It was fine but not exactly the pace of play I had planned. Still better than slow play!
Overall, the course was in good condition considering the season and the weather and we had a good time. There were a couple of bunkers that were in the process of being redone and they were treating them as ground under repair. The greens were slow and easy to hold but you can tell they could be much faster and firmer in the warmer seasons. We are going to play it again when it warms up in the spring!

nice course, fast greens
We had perfect weather, course was in good shape. Greens were fast with a lot of break. Golf Pro was very friendly. Plenty of challenging shots, but a fun course to play. My wife & I like to come down & play in the fall.

Challenging Course
The course was in great condition! The tees were hard but it’s been so dry there’s no avoiding it. Hit it straight! I lost a lot of balls and strokes off the tee this time. Might put a driving iron in my bag just for this course.
