About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Great round!
Excellent course & round as usual, greens nice and true. thanks a lot!
Not bad
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in really good shape. However, the rough had a lot brown, clumped grass where it had gotten too high before it was mowed. The pro shop attendant was super friendly and let one in our group test drive a Titleist driver on the course. We arrived early enough to hit some range balls. The problem was, there were no range balls. The attendant said they had all been hit into the woods. All in all, not a bad course. It has some character and isn’t a bad value for the price.

Legacy is quite fun
Fair and receptive greens with some really cool hole layouts. It’s only 20 minutes outside of Nashville and well worth the drive!

Course in great shape
The course was in excellent condition. Fun time playing today. We played 18 in under 3 hours. We waited for less than a minute one one hole. Clubhouse attendant was friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The Legacy: First Impression
Great course! The greens, fairways, and rough were all in amazing shape! The bunkers were in decent shape, they were fine and playable. The staff was very friendly. The free cups of ice were crucial on a hot day. The layout is great but there are some holes were course knowledge comes into play...
#7 hit the middle/right of the fairway! I hit a drive that landed on the left side (borderline fairway) and never saw it again. It’s a short par 5 but there is zero room for error off the tee. Next time I’ll go with a 3 iron/3 wood and play it as a 3 shot par 5.
#11 don’t go far past the 150 marker! It really narrows inside 150 and you have to stay to the left near the mounds. I crushed one on right side of the fairway and it was gone. It’s kinda blind from the tee so take a glance at the fairway from #10 tee. Next round I’m going to focus on hitting more fairways cause it’s a major penalty if you don’t.
Great course, great condition, great price, gonna give it another go now that I have the lay of the land!

Nice course
The course was in great shape. One or two greens had repairs being done on them but they were still in good shape. Pace of play was slow. The two groups in front of us were the cause of that. The course is challenging but fun to play. I'll be back!

Course has unique features for area
Lots of links-style elements, unusual for middle TN. Generous width on many fairways, but challenging with crowned and/or undulating greens, forced-carries, and numerous hazards. Well-designed.

Worth the drive
visiting Nashville and waiting to visit Springfield since I grew up there over 30yrs ago. This course was exactly what I had hoped it would be...fairways were fantastic, I loved the grass around the greens giving you extra confidence in chipping. Overall interesting layout where you could make choices off the tee. The cart staff were very friendly and came around often...only feedback i have is the range balls were a little shabby. Great course, worth the money and the drive from Nashville!

Best layout around Nashville. Course conditions were amazing. Green were at a very fast speed. Best value for the money around Nashville.
Heat brings birdies
The course offers degrees of difficulty based on tee markers used. Position off the tee is crucial on some holes. There are some you can let it go though. Greens are a medium speed and roll well. Birdies can be had if you are on the correct part of the green. Fun time, friendly staff!
Great time
Played here on a Sunday late morning. Course was in excellent shape except for the areas where they were renovating/planting/sodding. This was only noticeable or come into play on a couple holes. Greens were quick and smooth. Staff was friendly. Overall a great time. Would play again.

Lots of fun!
I would highly recommend playing The Legacy! From tee to green, the golf course will challenge you. The REAL challenge comes when you get to the greens! Greens had a really good pace to them, but not crazy fast. The slope of the greens was something you don't see everyday! If you get a chance, play The Legacy! Also, the head pro was extremely nice! Had a great conversation with him before the round!
