About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Legacy Golf Course Remarks
This is an excellent course, not exceptionally long but you have to pay attention and keep your shots in the fairway or it can bite you. Has some greens that will strain your green reading ability but overall a very fair and fun course to play.

Great fairways / greens
The course overall was in great shape. The tee box, fairways were in pretty good shape. The greens were the best part of the course, very quick even at 8am. The rough was not in that good of shape for the most part, grass shavings were brown all over the rough.

Great Course
Course is always is great shape, roughs our like some fairways I have played, greens in excellent conditions always. A must play course for anyone new or old to golf. Staff is super nice and course is very well maintained.

Always a wonderful experience!! From Chris and Ian in the pro shop to the entire staff. A absolute gem for a great rate that rivals hermitage at a third of the price. Does anyone really think that Ray Floyd would design a course that didn't compete!!!

Nice Course- Possibly the best in the area
Fun. Worth playing regularly. Greens are well kept & would be perfect if people fixed their divots which apparently is too much to ask in this day & age. It’s my favorite reasonably priced course in the area. If you play here you won’t regret it. Playing again Sunday!

Not bad
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in really good shape. However, the rough had a lot brown, clumped grass where it had gotten too high before it was mowed. The pro shop attendant was super friendly and let one in our group test drive a Titleist driver on the course. We arrived early enough to hit some range balls. The problem was, there were no range balls. The attendant said they had all been hit into the woods. All in all, not a bad course. It has some character and isn’t a bad value for the price.

Legacy is quite fun
Fair and receptive greens with some really cool hole layouts. It’s only 20 minutes outside of Nashville and well worth the drive!

Course in great shape
The course was in excellent condition. Fun time playing today. We played 18 in under 3 hours. We waited for less than a minute one one hole. Clubhouse attendant was friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The Legacy: First Impression
Great course! The greens, fairways, and rough were all in amazing shape! The bunkers were in decent shape, they were fine and playable. The staff was very friendly. The free cups of ice were crucial on a hot day. The layout is great but there are some holes were course knowledge comes into play...
#7 hit the middle/right of the fairway! I hit a drive that landed on the left side (borderline fairway) and never saw it again. It’s a short par 5 but there is zero room for error off the tee. Next time I’ll go with a 3 iron/3 wood and play it as a 3 shot par 5.
#11 don’t go far past the 150 marker! It really narrows inside 150 and you have to stay to the left near the mounds. I crushed one on right side of the fairway and it was gone. It’s kinda blind from the tee so take a glance at the fairway from #10 tee. Next round I’m going to focus on hitting more fairways cause it’s a major penalty if you don’t.
Great course, great condition, great price, gonna give it another go now that I have the lay of the land!

Nice course
The course was in great shape. One or two greens had repairs being done on them but they were still in good shape. Pace of play was slow. The two groups in front of us were the cause of that. The course is challenging but fun to play. I'll be back!
