About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Great Course
I drive 45 minutes at least once a month to play this course. Course is in great shape and will be fantastic once maintenance on hole #3 is done. Big fan of the Legacy
great track!
really great layout, pure greens, and value. would put it up there w Gaylord, Hermitage, etc but at a better price. only downside was that they decided to close the range for mowing as we were warming up after we bought balls and needed to get a refund. seems like a task that can be done at the end of the day or before people show up.. also the tee boxes were furry and hadn’t been mowed in awhile and some had a pretty good slope to them but again i will gladly play again it’s a great course overall.
Overall the course was in good condition, seeing they got an inch of rain the day before.
Slow Sunday Round
I played this course 3.5 hours before, but today, after two calls to the pro shop to send out marshals, to no avail, our round took 4.5 hours of slow play and waiting on every hole.
A golf oasis in the hills of Tennessee.
I enjoyed the course. It was very challenging with many uphill fairways and fast undulating greens. The pin placements were too difficult for me but they were set for a two day youth tournament. The course is underrated off both the white and gold tees. I would play here again.
Great Track Solid Layout
The layout of the course is fantastic. No gimmicky or unfair holes. Staff was friendly and facilities were nice. Greens were in good shape, quick and consistent. The only negative was the tee boxes. Some of them were pretty bare and unlevel. Other than that it was a fantastic overall round and we’ll definitely be playing there again.
Great track
This course is a hidden Gem. Greens were in great condition and lots of undulation making it difficult! First time playing it and will be back.
Where's the grass?
This course looks like it's way past it's prime. Good layout that has gone past it's prime.
The greens were in great shape.
The Bermuda/ Bent/Spring weeds/dirt rest of the course needs thousands of gallons of water and fertilizer.
I'm sure the 4th owner of this course will figure it out.
Phenomenal greens
Best greens in middle TN at the moment. Almost too fast! Pin locations were tough but a lot of variety off the tee. Great course would go more often if it wasn’t so far.

Spring conditions a little wet. But overall course is in good shape. Once the green grass comes in the course will look great as always. Love this course! Greens are always perfect!
Great layout.
It was colder than expected when we played and hole 12 was under construction. Nonetheless, will definitely playbit again when in the area. Staff very pleasant and professional.
