About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

First time
I played today (in shorts bad decision, thankfully pro shop had a pull over I bought) and it was great. It was my first time back on a golf course in about 15 years. I had zero clue what or how I was doing but it was fun. Staff was constantly making rounds and checking on everyone. Course was great! All around a great time.
Great Course
The staff were very polite and helpful.
Concession's had awesome hamburgers & ham/cheese sandwiches .. Friendly staff there too.
Course was winter type grass and greens. I believe in the summer the fairways and greens will be great to play on. Layout was very good. The red tee boxes were well set for ladies and older senior players.
Driving range and practice green were nice as well.
Knew what I was getting into, but still great.
Course is always fun and in good condition except this time, but I knew what I was getting into when I booked the tee time. Rained throughout the whole night and was only 45 and overcast the whole round. So, of course the fairways were sloppy and wet, but greens were in great condition just slow because of the rain. Had a good time regardless of the conditions. Also, the smash burger was so good.
Only complaint was a single in front of us, the only other person even out there, was setting up his phone for every shot and videoing himself. Held us up about 8 of the holes. A solo shouldn't hold up a group of 3. Obviously not the courses fault, but I felt my need to complain incase that guy ever reads this. I want him to know it was not cool.

Course is in good condition. Good layout and greens are in good shape.

For this time of year, you will not find any better conditions. Absolutely perfect.

Course is a good layout. Greens were in good shaped. Practice green was slightly different speed than the course greens
Tough greens roll true!
I think this is the best value in the Nashville market! Greens are always decent and true. Fairways are in good shape.
The Legacy legacy
The Legacy is one of our favorite public courses. The greens are tough. Usually fast and you rarely have a flat, straight putt.
Impressive
The Legacy never disappoints!!
Excellent conditions even after 2 days of rain, 90* for carts, was expecting path only. This course drains very well and makes it very playable after days of crappy weather.
Fairways and tees were good, greens were excellent as usual.
Several pin placements were very challenging, the greens are huge, fast and true.

Excellent Choice
Having never golfed in Nashville it was a bit of a guessing game on where to play with my 3 family members. We were very please with our choice to play the Legacy. The layout was diverse and interesting, conditions were good and the pace of play was consistent. It was a very enjoyable day.
