About
The Legacy Golf Course is one of Robertson County's must-play courses. Opened in 1996, it is not as old as some other courses in the area but the designer, Raymond Floyd, took advantage of the existing mature woodlands spread throughout the lush, rolling hills. At 6,755 yards, the course is seemingly short but it is narrow, and be prepared to face troublesome hazards almost everywhere. It is notorious for making balls from even the most slightly errant shots disappear. It is a tough but fair challenge. The golf course starts with a tricky par 5 with a bunker on the right followed by a par 4 that requires a 200-yard carry or you'll surely be faced with trouble. The back nine at Legacy G.C. is slightly less difficult but there are still plenty of hazards as well as several blind shots.

Tough greens roll true!
I think this is the best value in the Nashville market! Greens are always decent and true. Fairways are in good shape.
The Legacy legacy
The Legacy is one of our favorite public courses. The greens are tough. Usually fast and you rarely have a flat, straight putt.
Impressive
The Legacy never disappoints!!
Excellent conditions even after 2 days of rain, 90* for carts, was expecting path only. This course drains very well and makes it very playable after days of crappy weather.
Fairways and tees were good, greens were excellent as usual.
Several pin placements were very challenging, the greens are huge, fast and true.

Excellent Choice
Having never golfed in Nashville it was a bit of a guessing game on where to play with my 3 family members. We were very please with our choice to play the Legacy. The layout was diverse and interesting, conditions were good and the pace of play was consistent. It was a very enjoyable day.
Well Maintained Course
Course was well maintained, greens were smooth and soft, fairways were great. Tee boxes were extremely hard, and had difficulty getting tees in on many tee boxes. Course would not allow walking prior to noon, but they did move our tee time up and send us out as a two-some, which was great. Zero issues with pace of play.
Given the time of year, the course was still in good shape. The rolling fairways and greens were challenging, but overall a good round.

Good conditions on tees, greens, and fairways. Well designed fair, but some tough narrow holes.

Don't normally leave reviews but this place was outstanding from when we showed up till we left the parking lot. "Just perfect "
Perfect Public Course
Overall a great experience. Club pro let me tee off earlier than my T Time. Course was in great shape, barely any dead spots. Greens were a little slow, but consistent and full, so that's fine by me. Great layout with some nice hills and tight shots, making you think about what your strategy should be. Bunkers were in good shape and fairways were nice. It's a little bit of a drive from Nashville, but well worth it. Between the price, layout and conditions, on top of a perfect day, you can't ask for a better experience.
Nice course
Challenging course all around. Greens are sloping. Seemed a little slow Enjoyed playing here.
One of my favorites
Love the layout of the course. It requires you to play different shots with different clubs. Greens still show punch holes but putted fairly true. They weren't as fast as they looked nor as fast as they used to be.
