Westfields Golf Club

I love Westfield and have played it several times. Tough conditions today with all the rain we’ve had recently. I was surprised at how bad the greens were. More than just wet from rain, bald spots and what looked like weeds - not their usual great condition. I’m confident they’ll get them back soon.

Pace of play was great which in combination with the weather was the only reason I enjoyed the round. Probably in May or June it would be in amazing shape but the weather seems to have taken a toll. Cheaper courses that are in much better shape in the area. Only way I would come back is for a real deal.

Really nice course. Very friendly And helpful staff. Course was full but never waited to tee off. We kept pace with the group in front of us. Will play here again.

Course conditions were a 4 star because of some fungus spots on greens and fairways. Hard to combat with all the rain we’ve had lately.

This course is usually in good to great shape. Not the case right now. Many dead spots throughout the course. I would not pay full price to play here at the moment. Summer hasn't been kind in the area but other courses have dealt with the rain/excessive heat a lot better than Westfields.

This is my favorite course in No.Va. - challenging, walkable, nice setting in the woods, excellent service, free range balls, a pure golf vibe (even though they do a lot of weddings) and the design is excellent. While a par 35, the front 9 is at least two shots harder than the par 36 back. Depending on the tees you select, you'll play at least 3-4 par 4 1/2's, a par 3 1/2, and you'll face some interesting choices. But the course is fair and reasonable at all times.

But, man, every August! The fairways burn up, the greens go bald. It's soaking wet. And it were just this August, that would be one thing, as most courses are struggling with the heat and overplay this year. But this is an annual occurrence it seems.

Every person at this course was friendly and helpful. A true gift of service. Minor issue getting a solo cart during Covid which was eventually fixed. Punched greens took a little away but the weather has beaten the area and many other courses have fared much worse. Really enjoyed our day. Thank you Westfields!

Rained in the early morning, but course was in really good shape. Staff was extremely attentive, efficient, friendly and helpful. Carts were extremely clean and stocked with towels and tees. Started at 12:45 and pace was great. Playing again next week and will return as often as possible.

First time playing, loved the layout. Very challenging from the tips. The greens left a lot to be desired but it was wet the day I played. The summer has beaten it up but it seems like the effort to keep the course up has fallen off too. Would play out here again, though I think there’s better value courses in the area.

Great course layout, well maintained except for the greens. Lots of aeration and seeding going on that challenged every put more that expected. Made reading the greens darn near impossible.

Some of the recent reviews are ridiculous.The course is in terrible shape.greens are awful, fairways are terrible too.Wet,muddy,lots of dead grass.Mudballs on almost every shot.I know it's August,but seriously?
