Westfields Golf Club

It was my first time playing here and the Greens were freshly aerated which was the only downside but everything else was very good I had no complaints it’s a challenging course but playable for everyone at the same time.

Course is very straightforward, not as challenging as the website makes it seem. Was in ok condition, greens weren’t great. Driving range and practice putting green were ok. Not worth the green fees though.

I played with two people who play frequently and they said the course was in the worst shape they've seen it. It was in rough shape, but it was still enjoyable and you could tell that they were doing everything that they could given this crazy summer.

I like the layout. The greens were tough and pretty fast. Pace of play wasn't bad.

I'll be back in the fall when hopefully it's in better shape.

You can tell this course used to be great. I don't know if it is the amount of rain we have received this summer or something else but there were huge bald patches in the fairway that were very muddy. Greens had lots of blemishes and ball marks. The fairway grass that wasn't bald was perfect however. Tee boxes were very nice as was the staff. Would come back again.

This was my every week course for a long time. Now, unfortunately my buddy and I decided it's time to take it off the rotation for the rest of this season. The course is in REALLY bad shape. So many bald spots in the fairway, so many damaged greens with overgrowth. Overall, it's very disappointing that it has gotten this bad for such a fun and beautiful gem in Northern Va, but even more disappointing that they still charge so much as if the quality of the course is what it used to be. The greens were almost unplayable and the fairways were awful. We'll see how they recover for next year, but we won't be back in 2020.

In terms of the staff, they're normally great, but today's experience left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Upon arrival for my 7:10am tee time, the starter made it a point to say they will not accommodate more than two carts per group even though I booked a single and was paired up with other folks. I respected the policy and decided to walk while putting my bag on the other player's cart. Once on the course I counted no less than 4 groups around us with at least 3 carts in the group. By the 6th hole I was very upset by this and called the pro shop. Thankfully they brought me my own cart, but l was very annoyed by the lack of consistency with their own policies and how adamant the starter was to not allow me to have my own cart.

course was excellent, great layout, friendly staff as always.

I asked about their rain check policy before we teed off and was told-no problem,thanks for being here.

Rain started on the third hole-horn blew on the third green

We went in and had lunch ($100 spent) and 30 minutes later we were told the course was closed for the day

When I went in for the rain check I was told they were charging me $ 40.00 for the use of the facilities-3 holes!!!

I told the pro that I paid for 4 rounds of golf-not individual holes and he told me too bad !

One of the best in Northern Virginia. Even without rakes; bunkers playable, tee boxes in good shape, fairways consistently good even after heavy rain night before and greens rolling well. Pace was great today with no waits, Played in just under 4 hours on a hot afternoon.

Nice track some junk in front of greens on a couple of holes that can steal a ball or two. Darn you Fred Couples!

Challenging but fair. You need to stay out of rough which is high and thick.

Played the course for the second time this year and it was in great shape. The greens were in excellent condition. However, I think it's a bit much at times.

Chris Pierce helped me have a mini Covid safe tournament. 12 golfers were able to have enough single carts, par 3 challenges with hand sanitizer and easy check in/payment via phone. Westfields definitely made everyone feel safe without sacrificing playing good golf with friends. The course was in great shape. The greens were oh so spicy! I definitely recommend this course for regular play or tournaments.
