About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Beautiful course
Chapel Hill is one of the best maintained courses in the 25 mile radius in which I play. The flowers scattered around the course make it an attractive course as well. The greens have been in excellent shape.

The course layout is very good, but the course gets a lot of play so the greens have a lot of ball marks that effect the roll. The traps could use some work but the fairways were nice even without much rain.. Overall the course is worth about $30 to play.

friendly staff, great clubhouse, beautiful and challenging course, its well worth the scenic drive from Columbus, never played it till this year, we've played it 4 times now! not crowded like courses closer to the city, and far more beautiful!!
Meh
Don’t understand the hype. Course is green and had grass where it’s supposed to. The greens...yikes. For as hard and firm as they were you’d expect them to roll much faster. Hit several really good irons in and it might as well landed on pavement. Don’t know why it’s “the place to play in Knox Co” Irish Hills, Apple Valley, even Hiawatha for the money is a better value.

My son and I love this course!
Always fun to play this course. Love the layout! Course was in great shape with all tree he heat we have had. One thing that really stood out to us today was the two groups tre hat were ahead of us were playing with 5 in each group. Held up the place of play and was annoying for us and the groups around us. Course management needs to. e addressed. Thank you.
Well maintained course and club house
The best we have played in central Ohio so far! Well worth the price and they still maintain an actual starter!

Chapel Hill is one of my favorites because of the friendly , professional staff. They treat you like family with excellent service. The course has always been in excellent shape with a mix of difficult, forced carry holes and "birdie" holes.

Great round
The pace of play was a little slow, but could be expected with a full house. The staff were friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape and the layout is not only picturesque but also demanding but fair. Would recommend this course to all my friends.
Great layout, only if the course was closer
This course is fairly difficult course with lots of challenges. I always enjoy my round here. We played 2 hours after moderate rain so course was slightly wet but still off the cart path. Due to being a weekend round, it was little slow. All in all, can't complain a nice cool day on a slightly wet condition. There are some holes that are very difficult for high handicapper so be aware. Greens have moderate to severe slopes to them. Fairways are sloped one side or another with lots of forced carry so probably not the best course for beginners. If you like a challenge, come play here and test your game.
