Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Went to the Chapel
Always loved that the clubhouse is actually an old church chapel.
Fairways and greens were in great shape. Some holes are tricky if you haven’t played them before. The cart GPS helps with navigation of the course. Greens run true and fast.
Staff always seems happy to see you chose their course. They make you feel truly appreciated as a patron.
Outstanding course. I just wish I lived closer to play it more often. It’s definitey worth the trip. Great layout
Amazing
This is a very Beautiful course and well maintained.
First time at the Church
I spent a delightful day playing Chapel Hill for the first time. I has heard so much about the course from our Columbus local AM radio celeb who talks about the course on a personal note on occasion. It was over an hour travel time for me but the Golfnow $ and tee time for insintives motivating my decision to do so. Met up with an old friend I hadn’t seen in over 30 years, who was able to play in our group unexpectably.. course had very challenging holes, pace of play was perfect and staff very accommodating. Great day had by all....
Great course
My son and I golfed for my birthday and we both thought the course was great. Good views and even flowers throughout the course. Food at the clubhouse was good too
Golf and Weather both great!
What an amazing round of golf. And when the amazing weather cooperates what a bonus. Course is in great condition, greens held approach shots well and very nice greens, if you get puuts online they rolled true. Enjoyed every aspect of a wonderful day on this course.
Beautiful course
This place is always a great place to go. I am always impressed with the course and the people
Great course friendly staff
Played on a Friday morning just under 3 hours. Friendly staff. Course in great shape. Good hilly course with some fun holes worth the drive.
Nice place - would play again when I'm back in the area. Good mix of scoreable and risk/reward holes.
For the price - worth it.
Great place to play
Course was in Great shape.Staff was friendly. Pace of play was great . Under 4 hours.
A better course than I expected.
I played here several years ago, but didn't remember a whole lot about the course. Course was in far better shape than I expected. Tight fairways, true greens, and a lot of hills. Several holes have lakes guarding the green, so be aware. Course was packed when we arrived, but, a shotgun morning group was finishing. Never saw another golfer on the course once we started. Played in 3 hours, 10 minutes. Nice clubhouse housed in an old church. This is a 5 star course, that deserves your play.
A Hidden Gem near Mt. Vernon
Greens in amazing condition!
Great value and beautiful course. Will definitely play again and highly recommend to others. Really enjoyed the GPS feature on carts.
A good buy.
This is a fine course, and the hot deal made it even better. The course is in good shape, although some of the greens were recently aerated, and therefore slow. It rained through most of the round, but the course still played well. The pace started out fast, but slowed considerably on the back nine; still finished in 3 1/2 hours.
course in good shape but the greens were recently aerated so some of them were bumpy.
