About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Great shape, nice staff. Tee’d off at 5:30pm done by 8:30pm. I 100% want to go back. I traveled an hour and would happily do it again!
Great course conditions....finally!
It's been a little while since I've played what most people would consider a budget friendly course that was in pretty good shape. All rough and fairways were in really good shape. Most greens were too, but a couple had really heavy pitch marks. Especially #18. Still rolled quick and true for the most part. Nice undulations to the greens as well. Nice mix of difficulty throughout. Played from the blues and used 75% of my clubs. Wish it was closer to Columbus, but I'll definitely be back. Worth the trip.
“Old School Challenge with Modern Convenience”
On-cart GPS was very helpful plotting golf shots throughout the round.
Loved the combination of course design and natural terrain.
The green complexes treated average to good approach shots fairly. Be ready for interesting, challenging puts if your not hitting them closer to the pin.
One critique is regarding the style of cups used on the greens. I never have, and never will, like cups that do not set well below the putting surface.

They force Golfnow tee times to pair up but nobody else
Before all the Golfnow teetimes to be paired up and nobody else I want to have their teachers go to the same thing and I watch everybody around me going out as singles in Tucson no more
Love this course!
Got tee time through the golf now app on the night before for way below the regular rate. Course Clubhouse is a former bible school and sits up on a bluff with a steeple! It’s very cool.
The track plays up, down and around a nice hilly piece of property. Couldn’t be more happy with the set up. Very challenging at times - like holes 7 and 9 on the front and 11 and 18 on the back.
Highly recommend it!!
Will play again when I am down near Columbus.
Great shape!
The course overall was in great shape, especially considering the hot humid weather for the past 8 weeks. The greens were actually slower than the practice green! I was impressed, and plan to go back this season.

We had a great time playing this course yesterday. Conditions were great, pace of play was great and can’t beat the value of it. It’s definitely worth the drive from the Columbus area.
Chapel Hill Golf Course
Course was in excellent shape, greens were very receptive and held well. Putted very true. Played in three and one half hours despite the course being busy.
Chapel 💒 Hill GC
Hidden gem just outside Columbus this track is a must play! Love the layout as one must have distance control to attack the GC! Making the trek back again in couple weeks Chapel Hill is on my play list each year now 🙌🏼

Absolutely worth the trip! If you can get on for under $40 for 18 with a cart, definitely worth the money!

I was totally surprised by this course—it’s a beautiful place with a fun, challenging layout.
Bring your wedge game—you’ll need it on a few of the trickier holes!
The staff was super friendly, and the pace of play was really fast. We played from the white tees, and I’d suggest letting the gold tee groups play through. It moved a bit quicker than I usually like, but it definitely kept us on our toes.
