Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Chapel 💒 Hill GC
Hidden gem just outside Columbus this track is a must play! Love the layout as one must have distance control to attack the GC! Making the trek back again in couple weeks Chapel Hill is on my play list each year now 🙌🏼
Fantastic course in fantastic condition!
Absolutely worth the trip! If you can get on for under $40 for 18 with a cart, definitely worth the money!
Absolutely loved this course...scenic, challenging approaches, and friendly staff...Will be back soon! Ty Chapel Hill!!
Awesome course!
I was totally surprised by this course—it’s a beautiful place with a fun, challenging layout.
Bring your wedge game—you’ll need it on a few of the trickier holes!
The staff was super friendly, and the pace of play was really fast. We played from the white tees, and I’d suggest letting the gold tee groups play through. It moved a bit quicker than I usually like, but it definitely kept us on our toes.
Amazing outing
In the area from CA and chose this course from other player reviews. Man, I was not disappointed. Amazing course in all respects; value, scenery, layout. Will definitely recommend and play again.
Very nice course
Traveled an hour to try this course and I'm already looking for an opportunity to to go back. The course is very well maintained with a scenic, hilly layout. The elevation changes had me using my entire bag, pulling clubs that don't get much use in the typical community development golf course around Columbus.
Play was slow - taking nearly five hours for my round - but the course was busy and everyone seemed to be on pace with the group ahead of them. I took it in stride and just enjoyed the afternoon. There was a ranger on the course monitoring pace.
The entire staff was welcoming and the starter was proactive by making early contact with the groups and monitoring their warm-ups to stay on schedule.
Their food menu offered more than the typical golf course hot dog, I really enjoyed the pulled chicken.
A favorite course to play
This is one of my favorite courses. It is playable yet hard. Always in good condition except this time. It had rained 4" 2 days before and the crews couldn't get out to mow so the course was wet and shaggy. I have played here for over 10 years and I have never seen conditions like this. Even with all of that it was still a good day. It was a 5 hour round because of cart path only which wasn't fun. When its not so rainy this course is awesome!
Second time
My second time playing this course. After a few days of heavy rain the course was cart path only. It made for slower play than normal, but I understand the reason why. Looking forward to playing again.
Chapel Hill always delivers
Enjoyed the round at Chapel Hill. Staff is great, course is solid and pace of play is usually very good. I’ll be back multiple times this Spring and Summer.
