Herndon Centennial Golf Course

Other than the Heat & Humidity a good time was had by all.

Am always happy to play Herndon but surprised at the depth of the rough along fairways and around the greens - quite punitive for shots that roll off the fairway 1 foot or just miss the green. Understand the downpours of the last 3 days made the course quite soggy and possibly difficult to mow. Staff as always is super friendly and pace of play was very good.

Played with group of 3. Pace of play was on pace. One thing that I did not like was the group of teens playing behind on the back nine who were impatient and hit a golf ball over the head of my play group. Otherwise it was great day on Herndon course.

Great short course to play. Pace of play can get slow, but the fairways and greens are worth it. Bunkers were nice as well.

The pace of play is absolutely terrible due to the fact they over pack the tee sheet. The last 3 time we have played here we have finished in 5 hours waiting 20 min per shot to hit. Avoid at all costs unless you are the first tee time

Course was in good shape, not the most challenging layout but good conditions and fun for a local public course

Herndon was in GREAT condition. Greens were fair and rolling true. Rough was higher than normal, but not unfair. Pace of play was extremely slow. Marshall should recommend the correct set of tees when watching players use the blue tees and could barely hit the ball straight. Out of bounds, and long approach shots for unskilled players makes for long waits on the tee box and the fairways.

Great public course for the money! Will play again!

So slow, and we even called the martial. Still the same. I started at 2:06, and ended up leaving after 16 holes which was at 6:30
