Meadowbrook Country Club

The fringe of the greens weren't in the best shape, but very solid, pretty course. Been around a while and is where Bobby and Lanny Wadkins played growing up. Also, one of the guys we played with hit a hole in one!

This is a course that seems to have minimal resources to maintain the grounds. Several greens were diseased and/or burnt out. Several greens were significantly slower than the rest. The course has many weeds mixed into the fairways and rough. Several tee boxes were in bad repair and not very even. The water hazards were unsightly with pond scum and they smelled bad. Several of the course areas where there were steps built were in such disrepair you are better off not using them. Not everything was terrible: The carts are newish, the range balls were free, and bunkers were not bad.

Course is nice and in better condition then many I’ve played in Richmond area. I can’t remember the last time I heard so many shots hitting trees but it would be nice if trees were limbed up a bit.

The facilities are dated and in need of facelift but overall enjoyed round with my son!

We loved to play on this course. Most of the holes are straight and one can see the pin. But there are more challenges in the back 9 holes. The fairways are superbly maintained while the greens are reasonably fast.

Fun little track. Played a private access hot deal. Actually loved this course. Will inquire about membership.

First time playing here and the course was in great shape. It had just rained the day before and you couldn’t even tell by being on the course. Greens in great shape on all the holes.

Course is beautiful, fairway’s gorgeous and greens are tough but consistent. Love this course

Place is always incredible, love the fact that pace of play is incredible and everyone out there are really good folks. Greens were in great shape and were very true. Grounds crew does an amazing job there truly incredible bang for your buck.

Course in great shape, people are all friendly and mixed drinks were delicious. An old hidden gem

The course was nice and the layout was awesome but the condition it was in left a little something to be desired especially being a country club. Most likely not going back for a while hopefully it was just a bad day and not how the course normally is.

The reason I give it a three star review is; one, 4 groups at the first tee when we arrived at the tee for our time. Two, greens aerated and furry, but not awful. Three, cart paths need work and not clear direction to the next hole. Four, no food, snack bar or bev cart.

The course was in good shape after heavy rains. Some holes are tight and most require the ability to move the ball around or you're second shot will be blocked out. Greens fall off drastically on some holes.

All in all, now that I know the layout, I'd like to play it again.
