Meadowbrook Country Club

Very friendly pro shop. Greens had been punched but healing well. Fast! Fairways just waking up. Bunkers in good shape. Definitely a play again.

Enjoyed the course but the tee times were every 10 minutes. Made playing extremely slow and had to wait 15 minutes on the tee before we could tee off. Had to wait for every shot on every hole making playing time 6 hours which was very frustrating.

Had a great time playing this course for the first time. Can’t wait to play it again when the Bermuda turns green… Very friendly staff in the bar, and Mark (pro) was extremely friendly and informative. Thanks for such a great experience!

Nice old school country club. Small tough greens. Not too long. Bro g a good shot game. The place was empty. 2 of us walked in under 3:30.

Pro shop staff very unprofessional. When asked could I play golf at this course I was told no they were a private club. Then I showed them the GN app and was told oh yea except for GN.

Place was beautiful, greens were so true and fairways and rough were magnificent. Best course outside of Independence and Golden Horse shoe.

The course was in wonderful shape minus a couple greens with bad spots. Very tight course but doesn’t play long at all. Small greens are very challenging. I would highly recommend this course if you have never played it. It will call for every shot in the bag.

If you are a person of color , particularly African American do not patronize this establishment. My husband and I were treated like second class citizens at this club on our special-day. We are a mixed couple he is white, I’m black. We still haven’t receive a congratulations, thank you or any acknowledgment of our special day! Our wedding coordinator was told that she could be a server at the club if she wanted a job there, she is African American. Really? she is a certified wedding planner why would she want to be a server? Makes no sense, she is qualified and has the credentials to manage any event at this club. If you have your wedding here, the bridal suite will not be exclusive to you, members of the club will be able to walk in and out of the area at any time while you are getting ready for your big day. We paid over 400 dollars for the suite but had no say so on who came in while I was getting makeup done and getting dressed for the wedding! I was also told I couldn’t have a runner on the aisle as I walked down, however other couples were allowed to have runners as it’s on there IG page, look it up . The only people of color at this club are servers and wait staff. They are not in any higher positions, they are only there to work as servers and wait for the club members. Like in the old south antebellum days. My husband and I, despite all the negative energy that we were displayed by the banquet manager had a beautiful day and we wouldnt change it in a heart beat! But we deserve better than this, this was our special day, food wasn’t ordered on time for bridal suite, , main dining room couldn’t be setup the night before because club members were eating in there, dirty chairs at our ceremony, stains on table clothes , wrinkles on table clothes, water leaking from the ceiling in the Cogbill room. I could go on and on. Message here please do your research before you book a venue for your special day. If you are African American do extra research onyour special day because you may not be welcomed at certain venues because of what you look like! Don’t patronized businesses that practice discrimination or have a history of it. Spend your money elsewhere.
