Mr Hatch
Highly recommend playing the course. Great staff..
Great Golf Course Extremely Slow Play
I consider this my home course because I play most of my golf here. It is the most well maintained public golf course in the surrounding area. My only complaint is that most of the time you need in excess of 4 and 1/2 hours to play. Its the only course where play backs up. Usually the result of group members hitting more than one ball and groups gathered on the tee measuring putts and taking so much time like they are betting their home making the putt.
Starts usually on the first hole where a lot of people hit two or three balls off the tee. Wish they would have a Marshall observing play and enforcing the rules posted about play. Review what is meant by ready golf to the guys that think they are the only ones out there. A foursome can easily plat this course in under 4 hours and not feel rushed if ready golf was observed.
Always Excellent Conditions- Good Walking Course
Blue Hills is always well maintained year round. Greens are challenging, fairways receptive, staff welcoming and friendly, The driving range is spacious and well kept, range balls from a vending machine. Two very nice practice putting greens. Pro provides insightful swing analysis and helpful instruction. Easy walking course.
My Home course
Blue Hill golf course has become my home course. A professional friendly staff, a great facility and a beautiful course that is well maintained. I've played with some very good golfers as well.
My guest have always enjoyed the experience of playing at BH. Keep up the good work.
Good course when tee boxes ate not moved
I play a lot if different courses and none move the tee boxes to a mowed area outside of the established box area. Then charge about the same rates as prime time. Thats the reason I do not play there after October.
