Fun round
Not sure how many more times I will get out this year, but this was a good round to wrap up with. I finally shot under 100 and played, for me, a really good back 9; perhaps my best yet (45). I played solo and it was a blast for me. Thanks, as always, to Blue Hills for providing the availability of a round of golf on an extremely well kept course. Huge fan and I highly recommend the course!!!

Road trip from NJ to Roanoke Va. Really fun course to play. They had multiple tee boxes for all levels on a course that length wasn’t as important than accuracy. Greens were in great shape and to score well you needed to be accurate around the greens.

Afternoon at Blue Hills
The course has a good layout with plenty of Tee options to pick from. Very scenic and i thought overall the course was in great condition and the greens were really nice. Blue Hills could be a 5 star if they did not book Tee Times 8 minutes apart. Usually you are going to wait a few minutes between every shot.

Beautiful Greens
I played with three nice fellas who knew the course, and glad I did. There were a number of blind shots that were made more helpful knowing the line. It was a very windy day as a cold front moved through. Early on there were gusts of 30mph plus, and was a steady 15-20 mph later in the day. This made for tough conditions. The greens were a bit slow due to two days of previous rain, but were in fantastic shape. Would love to come back and play here again under better weather conditions.
