About
South Riding Golf Club is nestled in the gentle hills of northern Virginia, enjoying a landscape of hardwood forests and grassy meadows. The course offers a variety of challenges but the fairways are wide and player-friendly and the greens can be tough in spots but overall they offer some room for error. The layout requires both strategy and skill, it is definitely not a golf course where you will be able to just "grip and rip it." The course pinpoints your weaknesses but it is still a fair test. South Riding Golf Club's eighth hole is memorable for its difficulty but it's an interesting hole sine there are many ways to play it. At 351 yards, the hole is a short but intimidating dogleg left that will tempt you to go over the trees. The fairway is generous but the saddle-shaped green is flanked with bunkers.

Signage
Directional signs that lead you to the correct hole can’t be that much money I assume.
After looking for 18 for 20 minutes it started to rain. That’s after starting on 10 since 1 was impossible to find. 8 holes. Never again
Good Lay out
Pace of play was fine based on 4 hours but waited on the back as it bunched up. Finished in 4 1/2 hours
Nice course but not for the price
Maybe it’s the location but for the price charged the course should have been better maintained, don’t recall a lot of rain lately but the course felt extremely wet even in places on the fairway it didn’t look like it. Starter was great!!
Felt a bit rushed with all the twosomes being sent out and needing to pass us.
I think overall it’s the friends you’re out playing golf with that make the difference.
Good day at SR
Course was in really good shape considering it was pretty wet. Greens were perfect as were tee boxes. Pace of play was amazing for a Saturday.
Decent course to play
South riding golf course is a nice neighborhood golf course. It has fairly new carts, a good putting green, and a good driving range. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The golf course is in decent shape. Had a good time playing my friend who was the first time golfer. We let other people go in front of us and the pace of play was was good. I recommend this course to anyone is kind of open too many hazards but there is times when you have to lay up for certain holes.
Challenging Course
South Riding Golf Course is an open courses that will challenge golfers of all levels. You need to plan your shoots or pay the consequences. Nice driving range and putting area. Has an area to practice chipping and sand but OK. Course has some areas of ground under repair but overall course in good shape

1:52 with delays from a slow threesome on the first 5 holes. Course is in the best shape I’ve seen it in quite some time. Greens a little slow, but true and full. New carts too (about time). Strong value.
Greens and fairways are in great condition. A little slow play but due to a two-some before a foursome. Coming back to play next week as the greens are in great shape
