Hobbs Hole Golf Course

Accomadating staff, a beautiful course, and central location make Hobbs Hole the place to play. Last Tuesday the back nine was being aerated and the front was done the day before. A nice driver and 3 iron left me 8 feet. Sunk my first Eagle after 20 months of playing. Memories that'll last a lifetime, thanks to a the hard work off the staff and management of the course.

I travel by here from time-to-time and have always wanted to play and finally got the chance. I got a sweet Hot Deal from GolfNow and thought I’d get paired up with a threesome but ended up playing alone and the course was wide open, never even had anyone behind me the whole round. The course was in great shape from tee to green. It’s not the most difficult course but there are a few challenging holes and tricky greens, including the 420+ yard 8th (no. 1 handicap). The staff was very friendly, including the pro shop dog who greeted everyone!

I had a great time, had a nice warm up on their driving range and putting green, which are also in great shape. I had one of my best scores ever and my only regret is that I didn’t get to play with anyone! I’m not a long hitter so the length of the course is ideal for me (from the white tees). I recommend this course for a nice, relaxing round that is also very reasonably priced!

Shame on previous player that day. The Greens were full of ball marks and the sandtraps was not mended after they visited them. Shame, shame, shame.

Restaurant not open. Would enjoy a beer and sandwich afterwards. Play in the morning and it’s never open when done.

I had another awesome round at my favorite golf course! This course just gets better and better and better every time I play here….. however, it’s always great! The golf pro Brian, has made so many changes here in the past few months and it’s absolutely wonderful! The pro shop is stocked with awesome golf clothing shoes and equipment…… they have anything and everything you could imagine for golf! And if you need lessons Brian is your person…. He is awesome when it comes to giving great golf lessons! I love this golf course and look forward to my next round here soon! A big big thank you to Brian and his staff for being so amazing! This is one of the best courses in the state of Virginia! I love playing here and cannot wait until the next time I’m able to play at this awesome course! Brian the golf pro and his staff are so accommodating… They always go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and enjoy when they’re around! The course is in wonderful condition! This is by far my most favorite course ever!

Brian is the new golf pro at this golf course and he is absolutely amazing! His customer service and the customer service from his entire team is amazing! He is always there to greet us while letting us know about all the wonderful things he is doing for the course and it shows! The golf course is immaculate…… you feel like you’re hitting off carpet in the fairway and the greens are well-maintained and easy to putt on! This is my favorite course in Virginia…… my brother and I play here every chance we get! The restaurant really good too- we always stop there after the first nine and then after we finish playing! Thank you so much for all you do to make this course so absolutely wonderful! we will be back soon. Thanks again for being so wonderful!

The management needs to enforce the no carts.by greens and tees.

I play Hobbs Hole a lot!!. The course is always in great shape and it is a must to play.
