About
EagleSticks Golf Club tumbles across gently rolling farmland situated just outside of Zanesville. The constant up-and-down characterizes the course from the rolling fairways to the undulating greens. The total elevation changes amount to more than 100 feet. The hilly terrain is adorned with pristine forests of oak, maple, ash, oak, and walnut trees. Cascading waterfalls can be found throughout the golf course as well. There are scenic views everywhere but don't let that distract you, the challenging layout requires your full attention. There are 90 bunkers strategically situated along the fairways and greens. It's not particularly long at 6,500 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that instead favors accuracy over power. The par-5 11th is EagleSticks Golf Club's signature hole. Starting with a daunting downhill plunge, there is a creek that splits the fairway and a stream that runs alongside the left approaching the green.

Very friendly staff
Loved the course layout greens in good shape, our cart died on us at the 9th hole called the club house and told them they brought a new cart out very fast and the cart person was so very friendly kept apologuzing for the carts bad behavior lol made the trip to this course a good one
Fun and challenging course!
This course is a great design, and conditioning is very good as well. Greens have a lot of slope and are quite difficult. Unfortunately, the course was very wet from heavy rain the previous day and night, and it was therefore cart path only.

Course has not aged well.
Played here for the first time in 15-20 years.Layout was never great.Not sure why this course used to get the hype but this is not really a destination course or a course you must play if in the area.I would not travel to get here.Lots of weeds and rough around the edges.Its fine for a local course.Greens were good and people very nice.

Great round of golf
The course layout is great and the condition was great also. The pace of play was very slow due to the fact that the course was very busy.

Great Experience
Played this past Sunday at the course for the first time in 10+ years and was not disappointed. Course was in great shape (especially for the dry weather we've experienced over the past couple months) and I applaud the staff for their attentiveness upon check in and the starter. The starter was fantastic in providing relevant information and just being personable as we began our round.
I hope to revisit more frequently (definitely not waiting another 10 years to return) and appreciate the online booking option and the "Hot Deal" our group was able to take advantage of for our round.

Took a group of 24 and played 2 days. The course was in great shape. The staff at Eagle Sticks and the Quality Inn Hotel treat you like you are family. The food and service were great. I would recommend the golf packages they have a great value for the way they treat you.

Group Fun
We take a trip down to Eagle Sticks yearly with 16 guys. It is always a great time. The greens are in great shape. The staff is always friendly from the time you see the first person till the time you leave. Kelly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for us.

Reacquainted
Last played Eaglesticks in Zanesville 20 years ago after marrying my wife with her family.. Decided to play again with my 4 boys and get reacquainted with an old friend. The course layout is still challenging with rolling fairways and undulating but receptive and true greens. Mature trees make even more challenging but a fair golf test. Well worth the 30 mile trip. Created some great memories with my sons on a great golf venue!

Great course
This is a must play course. They don’t get much better than this course. Great layout. Staff very friendly. Food is excellent. It rained some the day we played but just the overall course conditions and scenery made it well worth it.

"Doing the right thing"
Second time I played the course. Course in very good condition and thoroughly enjoyed playing my round of golf there.
Personnel working there were friendly and knew what they were doing and went the extra to take care of my problem.
Somewhere towards the end of our round my range finder came up missing Evidently falling out of the cart. Looked for it but did not find it.Talked to the pro there Kelly Morrow and reported the loss to him..Range finder was given to me by a good friend when he no longer could play golf. He since has passed away.One of their grounds crew found my range finder and turned it in to the Pro Shop. Club Pro Kelly Morrow called me to let me know they found it and returned it to me Via US mail.
These are the kinds of people working and handling the public at this fine place.

Awesome Layout
The course wasn’t in the best shape (probably due to COVID-related budget constraints) but it was still awesome. The green difficulty made up for the relatively short track. Super scenic ride through the 18 holes. Couldn’t recommend more.

Hidden Gem
First time playing the course for our entire group. Went out as a 2-some and paired with another on the front to keep the pace rolling. 8-handicap golfer and played the tips 6 over. Course was slightly dry from the heat wave and lack of rain the last week but played fantastically well. Greens were fast, true and TOUGH. Boxes had some growth issues but could always find and clean ground. Drove 1.5 hours and not upset the least bit. Didn’t get to enjoy the restaurant but learn from our lesson and leave yourself some time because it looked absolutely delicious. Will most definitely be back soon!!

the course was in great shape, greens were a little fast due to the dry condtions. Pace of play was horrible. My Son and I went off as a twosome and had to wait on nearly every hole. we did get though a couple of foursomes bu no more took nearly 4 hours to play when we could have been done in about 3 hours. combine twosomes to make foursome to help with pace of play.

Great course and a great staff that go above and beyond!
Sixteen of us made the hour drive from Columbus to Zanesville to play EagleSticks, one of our favorite courses. We always love the opportunity to play a challenging course in a beautiful setting and this course never disappoints . The elevated tees, perfectly manicured fairways and greens, and tasty layout is a golfer's dream. Unfortunately when I got home I realized I had lost my prescription sunglasses at the course. I called the pro shop and spoke with Kell, the resident pro. He promised to check and follow up. and the next day he called to let me know one of the workers had found a pair of sun glasses in a cart. He texted me a pic and they were my glasses! I offered to run out there or to pay for shipping, but Kelly offered to ship them to me for free! Wow! I'm thrilled to deal with people who care about the customer. So this course has it all. A challenging track with friendly staff who work hard to met your every need. This course is a keeper! Thanks EagleSticks!!! We'll be back!
