About
EagleSticks Golf Club tumbles across gently rolling farmland situated just outside of Zanesville. The constant up-and-down characterizes the course from the rolling fairways to the undulating greens. The total elevation changes amount to more than 100 feet. The hilly terrain is adorned with pristine forests of oak, maple, ash, oak, and walnut trees. Cascading waterfalls can be found throughout the golf course as well. There are scenic views everywhere but don't let that distract you, the challenging layout requires your full attention. There are 90 bunkers strategically situated along the fairways and greens. It's not particularly long at 6,500 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that instead favors accuracy over power. The par-5 11th is EagleSticks Golf Club's signature hole. Starting with a daunting downhill plunge, there is a creek that splits the fairway and a stream that runs alongside the left approaching the green.

the course was in great shape, forgot how many hills there was on the course. Lots of foursome out and as a single hard to get going. greens were great and the bunker had lots of water in ithem.
Very disappointed!!!
I purchased 4 vouchers and every time I called for a tee time Eaglesticks had a golf outing. Very disappointed that i didn’t get to use my vouchers.

A chance to use every club
We travel an hour to get here and try to play at least once every year. The yardage is fair for senior golfers and during the 18 holes you will get a chance to use every club. With the rolling terrain and elevation changes, chances are that you will have a chance to use or learn to play from a lot of uneven lies. Weather conditions have been tough on golf courses this year with an extreme amount of rain in the spring and now really hot temperatures. We found the condition of the course to be very good, always enjoy the speed of the greens. Green side bunkers are OK, but fairway bunkers are pretty much unplayable. We used the driving range to warm up and the putting green gets you ready. Had a cold drink inside after the round and the prices are very reasonable and an enjoyable day was had by everyone. We’ll be back!

Great hospitality at a great course layout
Kelly, Tyler and the rest of the staff at Eaglesticks make for a great golf experience. Eaglesticks is about a two hour drive for us, so being treated like members is just one reason we make the trip a couple times a year. The layout of Eaglesticks offers many challenges with great elevation changes, undulating greens, and scenic views. They also have a great 19th hole if that is part of your criteria, where you can hang out, watch the game and talk about those missed putts. Recent weather in Ohio has made it tough on many golf courses, but you can see that Kelly and his staff are working hard to return the course to its country club like stature.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Course was in pretty good shape. Some issues that is out of their control with the weather we’ve had this year. Greens are getting beat up with ppl not repairing their ball marks and some bunkers with a lot of rocks in them. Otherwise it’s a pretty good course

Eaglesticks never seems to disappoint
I play Eaglesticks a couple times a year and it never seems to disappoint. Granted, I usually play mid-week when the course is less crowded. But, even with the rough weather we've been having this year, the course was is pretty decent shape, esp. when compared to some other courses in the area. I'm always made to feel welcome and will continue to visit ES.

Absolute gem for what they're charging
I live in Columbus Ohio yet this is my third time out there this year. The overall Aesthetics of the course are unbelievable for the price that they're charging. The elevation changes and undulating fairways and greens make this course a treat. Greens are three-tiered and normally rolled making it some of the quicker greens that I've put it on this year ( especially due to all the rain) so you better have it in the right spot or you're looking add a possible three-putt. Some bunkers are in poor condition but when I was out there they had a crew working on them wouldn't be surprised if they've got them all fixed soon. If you like elevation ,tiered greens and an overall great looking course make the drive from Columbus you won't be disappointed.

Fast Play
I’m local and play the course often. I typically avoid the course due to slow play. Got a great deal on GolfNow and couldn’t pass it up. Pace was great today - typically it is a slow go. Course is getting baked with the hot weather -overall condition is okay. All in all the course looks good, plays tough, and will challenge your skills.

Great value & staff

Once again a great trip
This is our 7th year in a row taking a trip to Eaglesticks. We had a group of 16 and not a single complaint from anyone. The course was in great shape and the weather was great. The entire staff is a first class act. Kelly and Tyler will set your trip up however you like. They are the most accommodating people you will ever come across. The bar and restaurant our great a d the staff very friendly. The food was excellent and prices are very fair. Can’t say enough good things about this trip. We will definitely be going back again next year.

Outstanding Customer Service
I have been a golf coach in Central Ohio for eighteen years. During that time I have had the chance to see and play many of Ohio’s best golf courses. While I often judge them on the facilities and their course layouts, the most important factor for me is customer service. Eaglesticks Golf Club excels in this category.
I recently took my high school golf team to play the course. From the moment we arrived the pro staff, lead by Head Pro Kelly Morrow, made us feel welcome. They were knowledgeable and accommodating. They got us checked in and on the course quickly. We had a great round. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience.
The course and facilities were excellent. The course was challenging, but playable. It has a nice mix of easy, moderately difficult, and challenging holes. My players very much enjoyed the day. The clubhouse is beautiful as well. The only minus was the bunkers, many of which were unplayable. This is understandable given the amount of rain and flooding they have seen in South Eastern Ohio in recent weeks. The greens staff was on the course as we played making repairs. I am sure they will be in top shape on our next visit.
If you are looking for a great course at a great price with excellent accommodations and great customer service, you need to get to Eaglesticks and play. You will not be disappointed.

Eaglesticks is a Must Play
As a high school golf coach for the last 18 years, I have seen and played many course across Ohio. While the course itself is an obvious concern to me, difficulty, condition, etc., my main criteria for judging a course is customer service. Eaglesticks Golf Club in South Zanesville, Ohio hits it out of the park in this category.
I recently took my high school golf team to play Eaglesticks. From the minute we walked in the door the pro staff, led by Head Pro Kelly Morrow, made us feel welcome. They were friendly, knowledgable, and made every effort to make our round enjoyable and memorable. My players had a great time. The clubhouse and restaurant are excellent as well. It is a great facility.
The course is an outstanding layout. While it is a bit short, it has a great balance of holes, some easy and some VERY challenging. The only issue I saw was the bunkers. Many were in poor condition, but that was due to the major amount of rain and flooding the area has seen over the past few weeks. As we played, the greens staff was hard at work making repairs.
If you are looking for a great experience, on a great course, for a great value, check out EagleSticks Golf Club. You will not be disappointed.

Worth the drive
With a great golfnow rate and reward, the value of playing Eaglesticks as far away as it was, was unbeatable..... the traps were unplayable, but this did not alter the appreciation for the great layout, speed of the greens and friendliness of the pro shop, on course workers and return cart boy. The course did play a little short for the tees we chose, but the layout of the course made it just as challenging.... great day on the course with my Step bro n law.... worth the drive...

Worth the drive
With a reward and a great rate on golfnow, the in excess of an hour drive was well worth the time spent on the road. I haven’t played here for probably 20 years but was delighted with the whole atmosphere of Eaglesticks. The traps were unplayable, but did not deter the enthusiasm for the setting. The rolling hills and nicely rolling greens were Inviting. The course is not a long layout and the par is only 70....But the friendliness of the pro shop to the on course employees to the cart boy receiving the carts was so gracious.. I would not make this trip all the time but the stars aligned with a great golfnow rate and utilization of a golfnow reward made this a special day. A memory was made...

First Time at Eagle Sticks
Recently played preparing for a staff outing scramble. As a Coach at Muskingum University, another coach and myself sought out Eagle Sticks to get a good lay of the course. We ended up playing fantastic rounds and are more than impressed with the layout and the conditions at the course. I recently recommended the course to a friend who's family was vacationing through the area. They enjoyed the course as well. The staff, carts and course were all on par for what we've heard and expected. I'll continue to recommend the course and play as well. Great time!
